From vietnam Some idioms we had learnt are : 1 drive me around the bend= make you feel angry / bored 2 does my head in = annoying 3 feel under the weather /feel sick 4 over the moon = too happy 5 get a grip = behave calmly / control your self emotion 6 piece of cake = st that is easy 7 take a piss = make jokes each other / make fun of sb or st

We sometimes say "under the weather" in America too. We use "at the end of the day" constantly. ("Get a grip!" as well.)

It always surprises me how I can perfectly understand British accent, American accent, Australian accent even... But when I took my TOIEC exams, the Listening part was not comprehensive at all 😂

Your communicative skills are very well developed... you describe everything very clearly indeed. As a UK person I feel that you could do yet more programmes on British idioms and expressions. Perhaps a lot of people abroad will be familiar with "sick as a parrot" - as we know, widely used, and nothing to do with being ill at all. Bravo. Very good communications skills.
