We've lived in rural Ireland for a few years now and its completely changed our lives for the better. Our dogs love the fields and growing vegetables has been rewarding. And connecting with the farm animals and birds and trees. Ireland has healed us. ❤❤❤

Hello from Arizona, USA! I'm a great lover of folklore, but I had never heard of that cave. It sounds fascinating! I can't wait to learn more about it, and I'd love to see a video from you! Thank you for making this! Very cozy and pleasant! 💖🌻🐛

Oh what a wonderful way to live! It’s so beautiful there. I’d love to visit Ireland. I’d love to know more about everything you mentioned, but also the original language! That’s truly sounds fascinating. Where I grew up, in our backyard was an old oak tree who’s trunk was so thick it’d probably take six adults with outstretched arms to reach around its circumference. It’s hard to imagine those tiny saplings growing into a huge majestic giant. But with care, it will do exactly that! Maybe one day they will also have swing and tires hanging from their branches, and children playing away their summer days in the shade they cast. Take care!
@gallowglass26302 жыл бұрын
SHe was a bit inaccurate about the original language Ogham ,ogham is a writing system used for old celtic languages such as gaelic and pictish.The irish gaelic language is still around though the vast majority speak english,its the community language in some remote areas and the first official language of the state and compulsory in schools.
@CaliAnimalLover2 жыл бұрын
@@gallowglass2630 it’s so important to keep those old languages alive! Still why Hawaiians teach Hawaiian in their school. And “Pennsylvania Dutch” is still common among the Amish. And the Navaho, heck all the indigenous people’s languages. Otherwise they’ll be lost forever, along with a part of humanity’s story. I would love for her to share more of it on her channel, even if she was a bit inaccurate with the way she described it.

Agreed the Irish countryside is so peaceful, i bought an old stone house nearly 4 years ago outside of sligo just outside of coolaney village been planting trees this year & loads of flowers to bring contrast against the old stone. Next year i want to build a poly tunel & loads of veg & fruit raised beds. Love the peacefulness of the countryside & the ocean, beachs, mountains & old folklore around sligo itself.

It's important to note that the everyday life in an Irish cottage can vary greatly depending on the specific location, the family's traditions, and the degree of modernization. Nonetheless, the sense of community, connection to nature, and appreciation for Irish heritage remain central to this way of life.

Im not young at all. Last fall, I planted 50 small bald cypress trees along the creek on our acreage. They are doing well. I imagine them tall and thick in 150 years providing much that the Earth's creatures will need. Cover. Food. Safety. I suspect your mother has that type of vision too. Be well.

I know it's wonderful that land is rewilded and food forests are developed but I think it's about time people divulge the costs of these ventures because it always seems like a hippy dippy magic thing that happens for free. And I know it doesn't.
@Lunaleodrune7 ай бұрын
This is true. Trees were purchased for 20p each from the Woodland Trust. My mam and myself are from a working class background and she worked hard for the NHS her whole life and retired here where houses and land are very cheap, it wouldn't have been possible for her in England. She's extremely thrifty and I can't remember the last time she purchased a plant apart from those trees, she gathers things from nature and makes cuttings. She plants the seeds from every piece of fruit she eats, plants acorns she finds on the ground etc. So it's absolutely not free or easy, but it's more possible than it seems. I have tried to include more detail about how she does this in some of my other videos so hopefully that helps.
