You see I'm Hispanic of Puerto Rican desend and my mother in 1958 became the first Hispanic R.N. nurse in New York City and in 1964 the supervising nurse after 23 years at a Manhattan hospital she than left to a hospital in Boston to be the director of nurses there. I love this movie. However I would like to see a movie done on Andrew Higgens. The man who made the landing crafts for WW2. Even though Andrew Higgins was a white man in Louisiana. He had a completely integrated work force during WW2. Which was unheard of at that time. Andrew Higgins also made sure that all of his workers regardless of color or ethnic background made the same wages for the same work.

I hate/love this movie for two reasons: racism, and how our people were treated even when benefiting everyone and having the knowledge and skills above our peers. And secondly, the fact that so many young black children have desire or direction to achieve what our ancestors have when they honestly had it so much worse. They would roll in their graves to see us today.

I just watched this true story and it saddens me that other people treated other people this way. As a quaker I've always look at other people as human beings and treated everyone with dignity and respect regardless of skin color or gender or religious beliefs. We have come along way but we have a long way to go. Our creator made us to love and care for each other it instilled in us from birth but we must be taught to hate each other because that is the devil's work. Do one act of random kindness everyday regardless of how small it might be and bring no harm but defend those who can't defend themselves.

The three didn’t actually work together. They were there in different years. Mary Jackson did have to do this. Katherine Johnson actually used white bathrooms with no consequences.

Lmao you can always tell when the creator of the video is white or not from the US because of how they describe racism as a “thing of the past”

My eyes got watery when I saw this movie. How u fair life is for certain ppl and how we can treat someone simply for not being a certain race or gender. We r humans. A person is someone else's sister, mother or child. Brother, husband and son. Imagine if someone treated u or ur child that way. Don't. 🥺

Colour dosent make a person .I had a British friend named Morin Hoskins in Bahrain we opened a day care in her place some British parents came to register and said o you have this coloured women we don't register Morin said it's her education is why I planed to open this day care .and also said colour is only skin deep.the colour of her bold is the same as yours. But her heart is more sensitive to the children. We opened and in a few days the day care was filled with children and that included the children of the parents that dident want to admit the ir ,children the daycare did well .thanks to our harmony we showed how we could make the world a better place.
