I drove my Tesla from Los Angeles to the Canadian border on Hwy 1 last July with no problems (not range or anything else; but FSD made the drive very easy)

Good vid. Range anxiety is so bogus for Tesla…the car tells you where and how long to charge. I’ve driven a M3 and MY round trip from NY to SoCal three times, with zero charging issues. Met some nice people, seen some interesting sights in the middle of the country, and couldn’t be more confident in road trips. Yes, it takes a bit more thinking ahead - a bit - but hardly an obstacle to travel.

I went from Naples Florida in a model y long range before I put in my order cause I wanted to find out if it was a problem to charge other than close to home and I had no problem. We went to Bryson City NC and then to Gatlinburg and then to pigeon forge and I changed enough to last us to spend time in different towns and had no problem except that there were no Tesla changes so at the end of our stay we had to go to pigeon forge to super charge at a Tesla charger there etc. I remember charging in 120 volt charger in Cherokee welcome center but just to try out the j-1772 adapter, While we had breakfast near by. After returning from trip i placed my order and my son also ordered one.

Took our 2019 M3 coast to coast in 2019. Never a problem finding a charger. Timed lunch and dinner breaks when stopping for charging. NEVER waited for the car, it was always ready before we were. Drove Our 2022 MY from California to Missouri and back to visit a sick relative in September 2021. Same experience. Real world experience.

Hi Chris, Any comments on the recent price hikes for the Superchargers? Yesterday, I was low on miles and had to charge in Culver City and the rate from 8:00AM - 12:00AM was .66/per kWh!

Never thought Johnny Tran would teach me about Tesla driving, jk! thanks for the very informative video. I drive Bolt EUV and range anxiety is real. I've wondered if Tesla owners would feel any different about long trips since Supercharger network seems a lot well maintained than Electrify America or Evgo. I can tell that it's just same problem at probably different level.

I know I had a tesla owner come into our car wash I knew everything about his car but I went up to his window and asked what kind of range does your melt model would get and the only thing he can say is I don’t know it just plug it in didn’t know nothing about the car other than it was a model why he wanted it he got it and that’s it he didn’t know the range he didn’t know nothing that’s why I say people with money buying these things they’re just doing it just because it’s a name it’s a big name they’re not smart when they buy these things and then they start panicking over range and everything but with Tesla‘s or like any other car even a gas car you’re not gonna run that thing out of gas unless you’re very very stupid and I have seen people like that hell I’ve seen Tesla owners try to fill up gas in their car just because they know nothing about it they’re just stupid it’s pretty much they’re buying it for the name the brand so yeah they probably have ran out of electric range because they weren’t smart enough to charge it up at home smart enough to go to your place say local government office they got free chargers Walmarts have free chargers pre-chargers everywhere if you’re gonna make a long trip be smart plan it out don’t just think all I got money I can do anything I want not actually planet just fucking go on a wing and do whatever you want and not make plans that’s just stupid
