I’ve watched countless detailers and car paint correctors on KZbin but I have to say your work for the time given and budget is absolutely phenomenal and I’ve sat watching loads of your videos since finding the channel last week. Thanks for taking the time to upload them all.

A few things I've gathered from watching your channel, which I really enjoy. 1) You're work is tremendous 2) You don't get paid enough 3) Some people are utter slobs 4) Car interiors are better made than I'd have ever thought when you see what they can be brought back from. Cheers for the videos.

lovely work. Where you’ve lost some badge letters, specifically the “ch” from Dispatch, I think it’s best to debadge the van. My technique is to: 1. Use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive 2. Use some dental floss to cut through he adhesive pads 3. Isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth on adhesive residue 4. Machine polish the paint

As always a great video, got to admit to being some what worried about engine and engine bay cleaning, speaking to an auto electrition friend, he says that almost a third of his work comes from wet looms, definately enouugh to shatter my confidence.
@BarryCoombs1
@BarryCoombs1 2 жыл бұрын
Ditto. I just daren’t put my power washer into the engine bay. I just spray APC on to an old brush on to the bits I can reach, work it in, then wipe it down with a cloth. I need my car for work & just can’t afford the risk of doing something to it for sake of a clean looking engine especially due to its age & mileage. The bonnet is only lifted by me for topping up fluids & the garage for annual servicing. If it was a show car, then that’s a different thing.

@everydaydetailing6449
@everydaydetailing6449 2 жыл бұрын
Depends on clients requirements, most want the leading edge, bit above the windscreen or “peak” on the bigger van , basically what you can see from standing on the ground! Very few want to pay for the entire roof as it’s hard to do and very time consuming for something you don’t see on a daily basis! Smaller vans like combos/berlingo’s have the entire roof done.

Hi! Long time subscriber, I noticed that you use a flex forced rotation machine for more than a year. I watched almost all of the KZbin reviews on this machine. Almost everyone says it's a very smooth machine, but the battery tends to go very weak after about 10-15 minutes. It holds for 30-40 minutes, but not at full speed. Are the 2 batteries that came in the kit able to cicle themselvs between charging and working or do you need to take brakes? Also about the vibrations I saw you attached a foam pad on the battery (I suppose it's for vibration purposes)...so...is it that bad? In the beginnings I saw you used to use a rupes mille, vibration wise how do they compare? Please give us a review on the flex. It's a pretty costly kit and a big investment. You cannot trust 100% the reviewers on internet. I would prefer the opinion of a working man. Just purchased the little one (3" flex) and it's a superb made machine but a bit shaky and I do feel a battery drop when near 2 bars of "fuel". Thank you!
@everydaydetailing6449
@everydaydetailing6449 2 жыл бұрын
Battery’s last 30+ mins on 4/6 I have a 3rd extra one just in case but rarely use it. In the real world stoping for a break etc you never really run low on power! Mille was easier to grip as it’s a normal handle.. the flex is heavy on the back end due to the battery. And you tend to hold on to the base of that rather than the handle grip! All DA’s vibrate, I added the pad to the base to make it more comfortable when using over long periods. It’s a good toll and once you have been cordless, it’s very hard to return to a cable powered machine 👍 thanks for the continued support of the channel.
