I have used all of them if they are for dry skin. My favorites are the Water Fresh Tint, Sublimage L'essence, Sublimage La Teint, Chanel N1, Healthy Glow and I wear them all in the lightest shade I can get. I am fair with pink undertones. Thank you for sharing these videos, they are so helpful!

Thank you for the thorough review of all these Chanel products! For every day, I love the Water Fresh tint. For more coverage I love the Les Beiges Healthy Glow or the No.1 de Chanel. My skin is normal to dry, so I prefer some glow in my foundation. Love all your content!

Very dry mature skin: my favorite Chanel complexion products are the Water Fresh Tint, Water Fresh Complexion Touch, Vitalumiére Aqua, and No 1. I also like the CC Cream but it is getting reformulated.

I do recall trying it once and it was almost too hydrating for my combo skin, so I can see dry skin types really loving it ❤️ I’ll have to keep an eye out for the reformulated version🌟

Great, comprehensive video on Chanel foundations. I don’t normally wear foundation or tints but when I do, I love the no 1 for my dry skin. It’s actually the only foundation I’ve kept because of the how good it looks on my dry skin even at the end of the day. I also have the water fresh tint that I don’t normally reach for but I think I’ll use more after watching this video.

This was an excellent video; thank you! I have been bouncing between the #1 & the WATER TOUCH. Looks like I need both. The touch for the under eyes. I'm 45 & have combination skin, but more on the dry side. But in my 40's hydration under eyes is much needed if I wear any kind of color on my face. I was using the COLORSCIENCE GLOW, which is a tinted sunscreen, but if I put too much under eyes it creases, making my under eyes look drier than they are. I have very subtle under eye line which do not need to be highlighted. I watched a few CHANEL video's. Yours is by far the best. I have since purchased the COLORSCIENCE INVISIBLE, which is why I am looking for a light foundation. I have not worn foundation for over 10 years. Wish I'd known sooner CHANEL had the best skin like finishes. Although probably 10 years ago CHANEL had too many ingredients like fragrance at the top of list, among other ingredients that I avoid. I’ve always wondered about the differences as I’m only a 3 year Chanel foundation user but clearly I love them as I already have 6 of their foundations! You are so right about considering your type of skin. The No. 1 lasts on my skin and gets better with time. The Sublimage in the jar looks absolutely beautiful on you! I may try it one day, but I will make sure the colour is perfect for me first, it would be a very expensive mistake if it didn't!

The Les Beige water fresh tint is the only makeup product I will put all over my face. It is also the only Chancel base I can wear because I cannot get a good shade match with the products that have larger shade ranges.

I have very dry, mature, skin and I live in a humid climate, that gets all seasons (so although it gets very cold, it’s a damp cold - and then we have very dry indoor heat)…. And I LOVE Chanel cosmetics. In summer, I love the Water Fresh Tint, the Water Fresh Complexion Touch, or the (reformulated) CC cream. In winter, I love the (reform) CC cream, Vitalumiere (not Aqua) or Les Beiges Healthy Glow. The No. 1 makes my skin look dry, and emphasizes texture. But the No. 1 Skin Enhancer is lovely, especially mixed with the CC cream ❤️

Hi, I have used almost all Chanel foundations. My shade is B20 and it works great in every one. Shades do not look same, they are same when you put them on your face. At least according to my experience❤

Absolutely love Water Fresh Tint I never noticed that it sets itself. I use one pump for my entire face applied with my fingers. It remains quite dewy hence me setting with fine powder. Complexion Touch is entirely too much pigment for my face, but will now try it as a concealer….thanks for the suggestion.

I am BD21 in the No. 1. It is the perfect shade for me. Ultra Le Teint in B20, as BD21 is too light and B30 too dark and orange, Les Beiges in BD21, which is good but oxidises slightly. The No. 1 has a light coverage but somehow it makes my skin look more beautiful, I get compliments when I wear it.

Thank you for the review. I’ve bought the ultra le teint one. And then i got to this video, and have to admit, i am glad you advised to start with this ultra le teint for new users of the brand. It is my first chanel foundation and first matte finish I bought. I usually get something more moisturizing and glowy, but I don’t like that greasy look i get in few hours. So this time I’ve decided to go with different finish. My problem is, i tend to get little flaky. What would you recommend to smoothen and prime the skin before applying this foundation?

Great video! I love Chanel foundations but their shade range (or lack of) drives me crazy.The sublimage in the pot is lovely but in the UK its now been discontinued we only have the essence teint and no BD41 sadly my shade also! I contacted Chanel and they have no plans to bring it back or add more BD41 apparently not needed here yet it’s always out of stock😩

🌟Hello! BD has more of a golden tone versus B which is more neutral. I have warm & neutral undertones, but I prefer BD versus B when the there is the option . I hope that helps 🙌🏼

Why oh why did they stop the compact gel foundation in the uk, I have the le. Blanc brightening gentle touch compact and cannot get it in UK and the stopped doing the les beiges compact. So disappointed . I love Chanel generally . Echo the issues with No1 being chalky on my dry mature skin but it looked great in my younger wrinkle free daughter

Your rainy deluge story convinced me to buy that sublimage foundation. 😂I needed to reorder my chanel velvet foundation which is my holy grail. I’ve noticed a lot of the shades are not available. Do you know if the sublimage foundation line is getting discontinued? I panicked when I noticed all the chanel velvet foundation shades disappeared and when I saw it restocked I had to order 2 for backups.
