You’re a brave man going back to Morrisons after that god awful pie you had previously. And a wet tray is pretty miserable. Their toastie looked overdone to me. Think I preferred the Tesco meal although the latte was expensive. Great video.

Happy almost Thanksgiving (it's tomorrow) from Southern Calif! (Even though The Pilgrims fled British life). 🙋‍♀️ Morrisons takes it for sure! Fewer offerings isn't bad in this case. Morrisons offer a little less but what there is, they do well.

I noticed on the tesco toasties the bread wasn’t buttered, that’s a big no no for me. Also the Morrison s didn’t butter the bread either, is that an English thing?

The Morrison's cupcake looked like red velvet sponge. I dunno, I thought Tesco's food looked more appealing visually, but agree Morrison's meal deal of toastie, cake and drink for £5 is good value.

Yaaayyy, Morrisons wins again, fab. one for the little guy! I always shop at Morrisons, much prefer them to Tesco even if they are owned by CDR 'advised' by Tesco ex-MD. Hooray for Morrisons!

I'm hard pushed to find Tesco cafe. The only one I know is Glossop Tesco. Most are now run by Costa.

I think it was the Tesco toastie that looked like a child had slapped it together,so not great for presentation. Plus,that poor little gingerbread man looked like he needed search and rescue. The Morrisons toastie looked better. You should try the £28 Wagyu sandwiches at Harrods. Maybe do a comparison between a cheaper version?

The sandwiches at £4.50 for what you really are getting is expensive. its only two slices of bread. the cake at £1.50 I would rather go to aldi and get the sticky toffee cake for £2.35 and it will last more days. so with the Morrison discount then they win

I like both cafés but on this occasion I'd go with Morrisons even though you did get the price wrong , it was closer to £12 rather than the £8 you quoted. At least Morrisons included turkey 🤣

great news! I wanted to try it last year but my local Morrisons had a reduced xmas menu and was only offering the smaller options. I was going to drive to a larger store but time ran out and the menu was pulled. I just wanted to order the whole 3 courses and just see how good a meal it was for the very low price point. @@everydayimeating3407

I may be wrong - but when you were holding the first sandwich the entire thing seem far too floppy as if they had pre-prepared the cheesy bread that morning then microwaved it when serving to heat it up. Bread shouldn’t ‘flop’ when toasted fresh. The Morrisons looked proper freshly toasted bread - notice it wasn’t floppy. Morrisons wins for me.

Well it's robbery with tinsel & smiles 😢Tesco's.What you had was basically were a sausage & bacon sandwich. A posh cheese sandwich. With Cranberry sauce ( jam if you prefer) added. And topped off with a thin layer of cheese, then browned under a salamander ( you grill with heat underneath) Your coffee'n'pie looked OK. But for me far too much cream on the coffee,size was grand,and at £4 it should be 😂 A change of top,a gimmick for the mince pie.A bit slap- dash service, but as a snack meal fair.Morrison's.Well i have to ask. What is this " cheese in everything?? " Turkey, bacon,sausage, stuffing makes a great sarnie😮cheese 😢😢 Not on my watch. To be fair the posh cheese sandwich you ate at Morrisons was much the same as Tesco's ,your coffee did seem to have Angel Wings on top.The cup cake,well it was a cup cake The meal deal at Morrison's.Well that is brilliant, a real bonus at this festive time. @everydayimeating3407 yes that's fair ofc, wasn't at all accusing you of being disingenuous nor doubted your accuracy, was only because you stated otherwise to what you actually paid in Morrisons, just naturally querying curiosity really appreciate the answer all best mate, I went to Leeds once, live Bedford near London we watched Leeds draw 3-3 with Blackburn Rovers 95, Shearer Hatrick Gary Mcalister inspiring an incredible against odds late comeback. They sold the BEST sausage rolls and scotch pies I ever had inside Elland Road then too.

At 1:25 please note you have to say gingerbread “person”, as it’s misogynistic and sexist nowadays to assume that all gingers are non-birth-giving people. Also, hair colour is now a protected characteristic, so focusing on that little biscuit’s appearance and its similarity to a ginger is going to cause tremendous offence to a lot of gingers.
