Thank you for this video . We used to have the same Intex pool with a salt water system . It stopped working after a few years & We haven’t been able to find a new salt water system for this size pool . Thanks for letting me know which one it is! Hopefully it will be back in stock soon !

We set up our pool last summer and looked amazing. We opened it this season and have had green algae. Any idea on what the issue might be?

Great video. I just set up my 24x12 pool and was wondering how many bags of salt do I need to add to my pool to start with? Thanks

I gotta question not really about the salt water system but the ladder for the pool. We just recently bought a 20 foot by 48 inches Intex pool. We got everything set up and working great but the ladder that came with the pool is super flimsy. I am about 6,3 320 pounds. Any suggestions on purchasable ladders or should I build a deck…
@EverydayMan2 жыл бұрын
I'm 6 1 and 300lbs. I use the ladder sometimes but mostly just crawl out on the deck.

I have a question…. Did you de grass under it or just put sand down to level if … I’m getting one and I see mixed reviews on that subject
@EverydayMan2 жыл бұрын
I had to dig out a lot of dirt to level it, so no grass underneath.

Thanks for the video you do an awesome job! I have a question I'm hoping you can answer I have an older Intex pool that is already showing some rust on the metal frame. It's about 4 years old. I took it apart this year and use some Rust-Oleum spray paint on some of the light rust. It's not major. But would you convert to a salt system in my situation??
@EverydayMan2 жыл бұрын
At 4 years old your reaching the end of life on these pools. I'm hoping to get 5 years from mine. But I still say yes if u plan to place it with another one in the future. You will be able to use the salt system on your new one.

I love your videos! Been binge watching the pool series over and over and excited to watch the rest of your content. Do you find your size sufficient for you or do you wish/plan to get the 32x16 Intex? I’m torn between your size and the larger one. We are in Michigan and can only enjoy the pool for 3 months if we are lucky. I know we are also going to have to spend more if we do because if heating and cost of maintenance. How do you feel about these pools being put up and down every year. I really don’t want to do that (I’ve watched videos where other northerners don’t) but want to extend the life of this. But also don’t know if it’s going to be costlier to put it up and down and put salt in it every year, or costlier to leave it up and have them perhaps not last as long and re-purchasing it sooner. Thanks you!

It's hard for me to say, I live in the deep south. My pool will never freeze. As far as the size I'm happy with it.

I just ordered the 18x52 and wanted to get a saltwater converter but the store had the 16" sand filter/saltwater combo on sale for less than the converter so I bought it(hope to sell the smaller sand pump). I have been reading a lot about FilterBallz and wonder if I can use them with this particular pump? Any tips/ideas? Thanks for the video!😊

I've never used them but I might try them out.

Thanks for the very informative videos you post. I am considering this same size pool in the ultra xtr. Is this particular pump strong enough for this size pool? I seem to recall you saying in another video that your pump was barely sufficient and needed an upgrade. Thanks again😎
@EverydayMan2 жыл бұрын
The pump in the video is what i upgraded too.
