My parents have owned bmw since 2013, I really liked the cars, but when it was my time to drive, I felt like bmw cars are too luxurious & way to smooth with it’s drive & a little bit to soft.. when I got my Mini Cooper S country man this year. I personally liked the way the Mini drives more then a bmw.. the steering wheel is a bit more tough & easier to maneuver.. you can do the slightest turn to the steering wheel in the Mini & it starts turning.. with bmw you gotta do a bigger turn with the steering wheel, which I personally don’t like.. so I’m just gonna stay with Mini Coopers forever, it’s my most favorite car, I love it so so much.

I love this car because it's one of the only ones in its class that is still offered in a manual. Try and find small SUV's or CUV's that have both AWD and a manual transmission. Outside of Subaru, that list is super short and I think this is the best one. It checks all the boxes: * Practical * Fun * Manual * All wheel drive * Quirky This is my next car.

Here in uk we used to have a car called a maxi. It was supposed to be like a big mini, with front wheel drive and a hatch. Pretty hellish looking things they were but quite nice to drive.

You and Zack are among the top reviewers even vs. the US. I always love how well the video is edited, how structured the features/driving experience being presented. Only one nick-picking this time, the base engine should be 1.5L 3 cylinder rather than 4 cylinder as you mentioned. Maybe you had Honda's 1.5L 4 cylinder in your mind?

Beautiful pictures of northern Scotland, love the hills covered in Heather. I haven't heard you mention in a long time about mpg's have you cut it for Canadians! Until you've driven a REAL Mini by British Leyland you'll never understand it. Next time you're in Ottawa I'll give you directions to the Mini and Jaguar King of Leyland car's off Carp road. Today's Mini Cooper like the VW Beetle is aimed at the ladies and not a every day type of car.

I would not want to be the third owner of these cars. Everything would be broken and too expensive to fix. Mini has to simplify - it has to reduce the technology. If people want to buy the technology they can buy a real BMW. Do you know what you are talking about when you state 'twin power turbo'? In engineering terms, 'twin power turbo' means nothing.

Well it does mean something i guess: „Twin-scroll loaders differ from other loaders due to the different design of the turbine housing and are an alternative to bi-turbo concepts with two parallel exhaust gas turbochargers. The spiral housing of the twin-scroll turbine is divided into two parallel flow channels by a flood divider. In combination with a two-flow exhaust manifold, this allows the exhaust gases to be supplied separately to the turbine impeller. The aim here is to prevent a mutual unfavorable influence on the individual cylinders when changing loads as much as possible. In the exhaust manifold, the exhaust ducts of two cylinders (for four-cylinder engines) or three cylinders (for six-cylinder engines) are combined into one strand and only reunited directly in front of the turbine impeller due to the construction of the twin-scroll turbine housing. The selection of cylinders depends on the ignition sequence of the engine, so that successive cylinders are always assigned to different exhaust gas strands. Positive effects of the twin-scroll loader are reduced exhaust backpressure and improved gas change of the engine, which in turn improves its consumption, performance and responsiveness.“
