Ive seen hundreds of bags recently -but this one is the best micro-macro!! Those 2 collapsable water bottle mesh pockets+ the retractable front flap means you can go from small n sleek to full day capacity in a few minutes -good call -def a best of the best design :)!

Only thing missing for me are some bottom straps to put something under the backpack like a blanket. Rest is perfect

Just two days ago I was griping about how I can't find a useful very small backpack for some short hikes - and here we are! Boy was this timely.

@EverydayTacticalVids ordered this on the basis of your review. Couldn't be happier with this product. Perfect day or half-day hike bag and more. Solid construction. Great features.

I have gotten one. I like its design but it's too small, oh what can 10L do? Just make a 20L version or big enough to hold helikon laptop briefcase then it will be perfect.
@John-od8dq3 жыл бұрын
I can see keys or a wallet going into that water bottle mesh. Then just tuck it into the zippered side. If someone wanted to pickpocket it, they'd have to get past the side zipper AND the mesh... Plus it's close to your side...

Some time ago, I got this one for my girlfriend (in the Shadow Grey, as in the video). Ideal for a day hike, she loves it (the colour too 🙂)

Great review, as always!. Could you please tell me the size of the main compartment? I'm thinking about buying this bag, but only if my EDC pouch fits in it. The size of the pouch is (loaded) 4 inches thick. The same for my Nalgene bottle with stainless steel cup around it, which I would like to fit in there as well. Of course we have the extra pockets on the sides, but sometimes it's nice to go low-profile.

EverydayTacticalVids can you tell me how flat this will go? Wondering if I could put this inside of another pack flat to use as a daypack? Thanks Chad
@jime.37603 жыл бұрын
When empty it compresses down to less than 2" thick.

Great review, great bag.. which colour is this, the grey or the black? ..cannot tell. Im about to buy one for daily motorcycle commuting, just wondering how would it hold against wet weather?
@EverydayTacticalVids3 жыл бұрын
This is gray - good question. And as far as the weather, this one is water resistant but not proof.

Seen some really cool stuff out of Helikon... particularly lately. I started following them when I was looking at the Bandicoot/Possum packs about a year ago now. People seem to give them very good reviews.
@ApocGuy4 жыл бұрын
sry for late replay; i own bandicoot for few years now and absolutely LOVE it. its big enough to put standard 32oz nalgene bottle in main compartment and the way belt is constructed, iv'e detached the belt part and use it on my 2" battle belt standalone :) .

Cool for an edc bag I use the 511 sling bag for edc but it isn’t as gray man very cool I’d rather have a gray man bag for edc my 511 looks to tactical and keeps me from carrying it all the time but it’s always with 5 minutes from me

If you're out mountain biking, you should wear the helmet on your head and not carry it in a backpack.
