Robert LeBlanc yes i took a test drive for Audi Q7 only because i am not a big fan of BMW suv section although their sedans are fantastic. In Audi Q7 test drive i felt i am not getting a very good power AWD experience which i got in Acura mdx awd and i felt maintainance of Acura is better for my budget compared to Audi, and i loved the tech package and new 2014 version look of acura..im just loving it

Excellent and a very realistic review. The MDX is definitely very popular, I see them all over the place. If anyone ever has the chance of driving this vehicle on paved road, remember to step on the gas when taking a curve and just feel the SH-AWD do all the magic.

I really like your car reviews and I really like our new 2015 MDX. But, your video is titled incorrectly. The model your are test driving is FWD, evident by the lack of a SH-AWD label on the tailgate and no spare under the rear of the SUV. We bought a FWD and are very happy with its driving dynamics and handling for everyday driving. I also purchased an Acura spare tire kit which is how I know AWD comes with a spare and the FWD only has a repair kit.

Nice review, I've been waiting for your review for months. :) I love my 2014 MDX Advance SH-AWD. Too bad this review is for the FWD model; the SH-AWD offers better handling. It would also have been great to get your driving impressions on the power and handling aspects too.

Hey Dave-- pushbutton ignitions don't need to be held until the engine starts. You can push the button and release it immediately and the engine will still start.

acura's somewhat bland styling works well with the MDX. More evolutionary design than revolutionary for sure and that not a bad thing. The LED jewel eye headlights just don't look right but I'm sure they work fine. Glad Superman made a quick appearance again. You do great work Dave!!

I can't believe Acura decided not to offer for American market all around camera view, heated steering wheel, fog lights, real wood inserts, head light washers. Acura offers those options for European and Russian customers

i too prefer German engineering, hens i bought a Tiguan. i love it, and so far no issues *knock on wood* lol reliability (mostly electrical i believe) is an issue in the past for the Germans, but they are getting better. however, their cars are still expensive to fix, and maintain (if you go back to the dealer for everything) - just to give you a heads up. i would consider the TDI Passat - better MPG, resale & last long, new or used. CU is def worth it i think, you save on the depreciation =).

As much as I like Acura's, I still think they're overpriced. You could get most (if not all) of these features in a fully loaded Mazda CX-9 GT for at least $10K less. You're spending that extra 10K on the name really. in my opinion.
