Congrats Onic for winning MSC. The fact that Kiboy took finals MVP is impressive, because time and again, series after series, he delivered. Quick eye test, he conducted nearly 60% of initiations and counter initiations and most of them led to winning or even teamfights. Roamers in pubs should be inspired that roamers can carry games, but it all starts with great fundamentals. Being able to provide vision, having good initiations, deflecting potential attacks, sacrifice, area control. Being mechanically knowledgable and great like Kiboy is a bonus, but u need just as much macro knowledge, if not more to be able to displace even the best mechanical players into forcing mistakes on both areas

They have no coach, no analyst, no MPL, no boot camp, no professional training, players have no contracts to stay together, NA is just very unorganized and not as competitive as southeast Asian regions. I’m from NA myself but if we want me compete against SEA regions we need more than just community tournaments. There’s pretty much no motivation for players to continue playing in this region because there’s no pro scene that gets them stable income.

its crazy how they won against both the grand champion and the first runner up of M4. reminds me of 2019 ONIC ID lineup where they win every single game from the beginning of MPL ID S3 till the end of MSC 2019 finals. its funny to see comments like "kairi carried", "kiboy carried", etc. when we all know that the carry of each game is always different, like sometimes its butss, kiboy, kairi. when kairi got 0 lords vs ECHO, kiboy stepped up his game and saved ONIC so much by setups after setups. kairi is also a beast when he's using his comfort heroes. butss is always consistent, he's really dependable since the group stage (BxF vs ONIC). its truly Onic Esports this time. edit: not to discredit CW and sanz. they just dont make major plays, but that's because they played safely and always waited for kiboy's shotcalls. unlike ECHO strat which backfired when benny always try to make plays without yawi, and that resulted in benny's 8/8/4 kda in game 3. sanz also TP'd so much, he alone successfully tilted the whole ECHO😂😂 plus that moment when yawi's kaja conceal+flicker+ult to sanz and then sanz still managed to react fast by tapping winter. that reaction time is really inhuman.
