The problem with these "companies" they sell bad addons for a good price. But now the "real companies" make new addons but sell them for €50,- for a good Addon... So or make a addon that is good or don't do it at all. But this is like the steam libary loads of content but 98% is shit. It's sad and MS should do more to ensure quality.

Truthfully though, Captain Sim have made good products, take their retro 707 for instance, great classic addon. Also their recent 767 and 757 have been pretty good too. They did state on their Facebook page that they released the 777 like this because making the addon from scratch would take a number of years due the difference in coding from the traditional p3d and fsx formula. Their main issue has always been their communication and dealing with customer feedback, hence why they are often viewed less favourably . Plus some of their other addons haven't been that great.

@@darkphantom24873 They were better in the past (FSX days or smth), that's for sure. Nowadays, with the 777 for MSFS they have damaged their reputation a lot, and it's deserved to be honest. Even saying "essential functionality paired with 747 systems" does not mean default 747 avionics straight in the 777 cockpit without even making an effort to configure them in order to look properly. You had addons not even double its price (e.g. Aerosoft CRJ) with great system depth, because the devs actually put on the work to make it realistic. Not putting in work, using imported older models, placing default avionics with 0 effort to at least give an impression of being realistic, then slapping a 30$ price on that? It's scammy as hell.

They should've made it a freebie or at the max $10 making it clear it's just a skin. if they did that I think most people would've been supportive of it and maybe even give them some nice publicity. But as mentioned it seems to have hurt them more than anything.

i bought the 777-200 and yes its 30 and yes it has the systems for the 747-8 but honestly i can care less just install the salty mod and engine sound pack boom its sorted now people might say oh its soo unrealistic and not study level at all and yes it isnt but for me and my own opinion i can care less for systems as long as the plane looks simular to the 777 in real life im happy and cs for me did a perfect job on it, Yes its 30 dollars but it couldve been worse and they couldve released it for 60-90 euros now if that was the case i wouldve said thats a massive scam but 30 dollars for the 200 and 20 for the 300 honestly for me i feel thats a good price seeing that you get a 3d cabin a nice looking exterior and interior and thats all i need :) But ye some people say say different and thats fine but for me i dont regret buying it :)

I am new to the world of flight sim and MSFS, but one thing I do not understand. If the 777 was based off of the 787, why is this muddled on the 747? Surely it would have made sense to model it on the 787? I am confused.

I can’t get it to turn, it literally will NOT turn during taxi. It makes me so mad that I spent so much money on it. No matter what speed it will not turn for me. Even in the sky, the rudders don’t work for me. Also in landing configuration with flaps all the way down and the correct airspeed, it climbs instead of descending. Even with the trim all the way nose down, it continues to climb at a “stall” speed. Imagine a plane nose down climbing into the air……this plane pisses me off. No other plane has this problem…even my 747 flies perfectly. This is the only plane that’s pure crap.

The 777-200 is the base pack 777-300 ER is a add on for the base pack therefor you have to buy the 777-200 to be able to use the 777-300
