The conclusion was an unexpected twist the author made it work. The Ravenous alien females represented a survival mystery that needed to be unraveled this beta male takes his good time doing so. The sexual synergy between Init and our hero had an electrical component that was creative and original I thought the dark energy supplied to the fading crystal would activate the entire tribe and a love fest ensued but nonetheless, the ending was sufficient. I enjoyed the story.

Not bad at all. The AI narration had fewer mispronounced words than a lot of these do. It still gets kind of long winded with the flowery descriptors, but not bad. Not bad at all.
