Some of my favorite videos of the year are Christmas morning videos. To see the joy on everyone’s faces. The anticipation waiting to open gifts. I’m a Christian so I also think about how much anticipation we have for the gifts left under the tree, just imagine the anticipation the wisemen felt as they followed the star to where Jesus was….the anticipation the of the coming Messiah.

I was looking at the clock on the wall and I was like "Wait, what? They're opening Christmas presents before 6:00am?" Lol growing up, my sister and I would have to wait until 8:00am before we could even get out of bed. By 8:05am we were opening presents lol. My mom has a clear look at the christmas tree from the kitchen and would be making cranberry orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast while watching my sister and I opening presents.

I may have told this story before but my Daddy was a sales rep and for Christmas his work gave them each a marzipan topped fruit cake and a blue tin of Danish butter cookies. We were given cases & cases of them every year and were allowed to keep whatever was left over. I never liked marzipan or fruit cake but it got to the point where we couldn't even look at Danish butter cookies. Dad medically retired in 1992 (and passed in 2013) but I still cannot even look at the tin! It makes me gag! LOL He would laugh and find that so funny! My sister is on the other side of the country so as a joke I'm going to send her a marzipan topped fruit cake, a blue tin of Danish butter cookies and a red-haired dolly (inside story significant to her).
