More Rotary Stories: I worked and bought my RX 4 off the show room floor. 1976, I asked the sales man what the break-in period was sitting there warming up, he said none, I dropped the clutch at 6000. Not sure about his face but my buddies in my car were stunned. Very few cars could keep up in a rat race throughout South St.Pete. I just squeezed out 130 mph on the Interstate, the car had it all. Of course it was Sunburst Red with a white interior...... Still my favorite of three rotaries.......oh, I need to stop.....😥

More Rotary Stories: In the mid 80's I was a Pit Marshal in SCCA and worked IMSA races, especially Sebring. One year I had the Silk Cut Jag, a Porsche and that crazy Argo Mazda, all prototype cars. I have to walk around the cars during pit cycles during the race, I dreaded going to the rear and when it would leave, well, my ears still ring and I wore protection! So Mr. Driver came in the pits a little too hot, turned deep into pitbox to avoid other piited car locked front right and slid where I was standing......lesson learned. I became the Argo hood ornament sprawled out on the hood. He had the right Marshal........just sayin😉
