@@purplemoons6647 To be honest the only character I felt connected with in this film was Peaches the dog, in fact why couldn't Purple Hearts as a whole be about a Marine and their emotional support animal since the film would serve a much better purpose in raising awareness of the emotional state those in the military would be like when the conflict is over so one must do their best to support them in their time of need than being a propaganda piece for the military.
