I personally don’t use Fiery Fondant on mine at all, I use Muck Buck, Baneful Bash, Bulk up, and Rejuvenate

Your absolutely insane for that, Fiery Fondant is literally there so you don't have to rely on your SB move for fire type stab damage.

I'm honestly more scared of it in the raid than it in pvp and stuff I'm a little sad that gorge doesn't eat hazards already up before it soul bursted, but tbh I do like this thing,might be one of my favorite awakened forms also, I'm a little surprised that it isn't a toxic type too since it's called ATOMIC hoganosh, and it's based on a mushroom cloud from nukes, which are inherently toxic I guess it might be better defensively without the toxic since it becomes quad weak to earth, but it's not like you'd stay in on those anyways

and even then, once gardrone gets levitate you could probably use like flame/voltaic/freezer core to be immune to earth moves (freezer if you really want to counter those too with deep freeze/frost beam)

I think loomians are just adapting more to the meta which happens to also hurt Hoganosh. From what I’ve heard, a lot of Gargolem-Defense have started picking up Earthquake for threats like Pyrolen and Krakaloa. Hazard leads like Gobbidemic and Gargolem-Speed will also probably adapt with other moves so as to not be completely useless into Hoganosh.

No i cannot. Sb krak is a bulky attacker and sb hoganosh is just a worse mega sableye, theyre not comparable

@justinandeano9578 I guess I'll explain it. If you compare both atomic hoganosh and lavafiend krakaloa then you can notice that krakaloa is a lot better. It's a lot less bulky on both sides and it's defensive typing is not as good. Fire spirit is actually a very good defensive type. Yes it has 6 weaknesses but it has I think 9 resistances and the only type that hits it naturally is mind. It's made even better because of its ability which is heat summon weakens water type moves by 25% so it's not as weak to water unlike hoganosh (It's gonna get changed to 50% so its gonna be even better so it's not even a weakness anymore) and it even hits harder with fire type moves because of heat summon which boost the power of fire type moves by 25% and it has flare blast which is 110 power (It's also gonna get boosted by 50% eventually). Hoganosh does have some things going for it that krakaloa doesn't have like its ability gorge where it can absorb entry Hazzards but krakaloa does have burn up for entry Hazzard removal and set up (It's slightly less good though since it can get poisoned by poison barbs) and I think krakaloa is overall easier to use on top of it walking threats like tahtab, hunder, wresolen (Especially ever since specialty gloves came out and people are probably gonna use gloves on it more) and with it can support it's team. Most importantly it's less cool looking. For me at least. Do you agree?
