I recorded what happens with Loki when it has the Kestrel and the On Stealth:Fix activates 2 times when you activate the ability then it activates again when the ability can be turned off and if you have Chester Coen then it will activate for a 4th time when you deactivate Loki’s ability

This is caused by an error in the program's design philosophy, which misidentifies each time the state of an ability (stealth, interval, normal) is shifted as "stealth started". In reality, it is continuous stealth.

@@M_M_WarRobots Do note that Loki's legendary pilot grants about 2 seconds of stealth after mode switch. It's possible that said pilot's ability was coded as an extra instance of stealth activation, and not an extension of the initial stealth activation.

I've been telling people that it's a nerf to the Kestrel overall especially considering there was a real nerf but the from on Kill to on Stealth isn't technically a nerf, it just changed the way you use the Drone. In my opinion, it shouldn't have happened because that's not what was promised to you when buying the damn thing but it is still a usable drone.

I've seen so many lynx recently that I'm 100% sure they will be needed sooner or later. Adrian, I was debating what robot I should add to my hanger. I had a Dementer, but I wanted a change. It had the Kestrel drone, so I stripped the amplifiers and drone, and applied them to the Nightingale. It wasn't until I was healing the team, and I took massive damage - and I was back to full health... I was like, what the hell? Now, I know why! Thanks Adrian!

Some are actually telling me now that this Kestrel works with the one mothership which puts you into stealth. I can't remember which one that is though but if this is true… that gives every bot the ability to heal to full health provided you can charge that mothership up. I haven't tested this though.

@@adrianchongIt’s the life saver turret that they are taking about, Crisis can take good advantage of this since it loses stealth by activating the orbital support and then 2 seconds later the lifesaver activates stealth which sets off the Kestrel then 4 seconds after the orbital support was activated the lifesaver’s stealth is lost with Crisis’s passive stealth activating 5 seconds after the orbital support and if you are using Paladin you just have to wait 3 more seconds before it’s shields are dropped and it gives you even more grey damage restoration

Yeah the grey damage repair isn't a bug. It's actually listed as the ability 10% grey damage. I put kestral on my orochi. Still goes down quick. Gonna level up my lynx and try it on there.

From what it seems it's similar to Wonderworker but it heals both health and grey damage. The Lynx is very good with this drone. If it worked well with Orochi then Lynx would be even better.

Adrian you should try crisis, at mk3 it has a short ability cooldown and you can spam it when you are in cover. Losing guns is not even a problem anymore cause you don't realy reach a critical state of hp.

I actually did try it on Crisis but it didn't work as well. I could definitely see it working but other robots like Loki, Imugi, Raven etc were more successful. I didn't try Ao Jun though… I think Ao Jun would be a very interesting one.

My guess is that it would heal the same way. Now that you mentioned it… I've never tried it with Ao Jun lol. This is technically a buff to Ao Jun too. I think Ao Jun probably has Wonderworker so you could use this with Ao Jun and have double healing and also grey damage healing.

Hiya Adrian I see there are a few that cant grasp how your Experimental Loki was able to heal up so much with some saying it's a bug from what I gather when you enter stealth you get 5% healing to the durability from the pilot Chester Coen, 5% to the durability and 10% grey damage from the Kestrel drone and because you are using 2 Immune Amps you also get a small bonus to healing for every 20,000 damage you have recieved for the entire battle "x2 maybe but not sure on that one" also forgot the Nuclear Amp recovers part of the robots durability too when max bonuses are reached. I did notice healing after you come out of stealth tho " so I tried that one out myself on the extermination mode" it works but only when using the Kestrel drone but cant find any reason for that to happen 🤷‍♂️ so I can see how it heals up so much to it's health. I agree with you and others that they should not have changed the dynamics of the drone 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. What's to stop them changing the dynamics of a bot or even a mothership also for that matter. That would be my Baby Account (which unfortunately doesn't get views and seems to get more dislikes these days). There's actually numerous reasons why I show things at max level and it's hard for most to understand why. Let me explain things… If I asked you today to start an account from scratch, you would base many decisions on what your equipment is in your current hangar. For example you will know not to level up your Natasha or not to level up your Thunders too much. Why? Because you know at your current level (which is much higher than the new account) those items don't really perform. This allows you to become more efficient with your resources as you won't waste Gold and Silver on those bots and weapons as you know Workshop will provide better options later down the road. What you're essentially doing is exactly what I'm doing except it's scaled down. The Battle Recording Account is similar to what your current account is and everything lower is relative to that. Do you ever wonder why I run certain builds like Crisis Decay or Ravana Havoc on my Baby Account? These are all decisions based on a maxed out account. Remember when I replaced my Phantom with the Khepri but then went back to the Phantom? At the time I found out the Phantom at the lower levels did better than the Khepri but I explained that if I was to decide which to level up, the Khepri would be the one. There's a reason for this - it's because I know the Khepri performs better at max level although this might have changed now because Phantom received quite a considerable buff. Ever wonder why players complained when we had MK1 level 8 equipment on the Test Server? It's because of the reasons explained above. Btw the above is not a "jab" at the average player it's more to help them understand why I do things the way they do. This is also how I learned to better understand the game (when I didn't have the BR Account I would often ask those who had maxed level equipment to get a better idea of upgrade path).

No unless you use the mothership that gives stealth. Actually I'm not 100% sure on this but someone in the comments section told me you can heal with that mothership. Ravana does not have stealth but rather Transcendence.

Kestrel was nerfed insanely hard. People say it's great on lynx well that's a lie. A 5% heal every 15 seconds is far worse than a 25% heal every kill.

I don't think you quite understand. It's not just a heal, it's healing grey damage too. The Kestrel before healed quite a bit but it didn't heal grey damage like the current version. In the case of Loki or even Lynx, as long as you keep using your ability you can heal all the way back up to 100% similar to what the Mender with Marie LeClair does.

I think so too, in special the stealth bots benefits a lot from this change… So for sure, for any normal bot this is a significant nerf but for stealth bots it’s an complete op buff… Just think about, the stealth bots has this as ability so it’s a brainless trigger for the effect and is so more often used as before, next to that the nerfs are nearly meaningless… And just think which bots are benefits from that, this are mainly bots which are otherwise not really usable anymore like the Loki, Stalker, Raven, Pursuer, Specter, Mercury, Orochi, Ao Jun, Scorpion, Nightingale, Imugi, lynx and crisis… Just 3 of the bots are newer and some other just have stealth with a pilot but over all that drone is a pretty nice buff now for a lot of old nearly useless robots… And remember, you can buff this even more when your mothership has an lifesaver in use…

It was NOT mistake. For the current new things ( Freezo Drone and Pathfinder Robot ) they ( the current Developers of War Robots ) got the task to nerf the Kestrel drone and change their "On Kill Fix" ability. They could change the Kestrel ability in "Last Stand Fix". Then a robot could use it only 1 x in a battle. But they know it is many stealth in the battles. They ( the current Developers of War Robots ) had do it for the players. They had do by a bad thing ( Kestrel Nerf ) something good for the players, and has given the players "On Stealth Fix" for Kestrel.

i would say its more of a buff and nerf because you cant heal anymore it wont keep you in the game for as long and the seeker drone makes it useless and more people are using quantum radar
