Yeah, they are really good if you play aggressive. I didn't like them the first 2-3 times I tried them, but I learned how to use them

Comparing guns using only chest shots isn't practical. Gotta use the combination shot option on tgd for a more realistic comparison. Also theres more to guns than just ttk. Damage per mag is also pretty important

Correct. Those are great points, but combo TTK rarely changes things drastically. And damage per mag is fine on the BP50 for solos, which is generally what my recommendations are geared toward.
