Eh, when "Jester Roulette" had Rythian and Ben (though mostly Rythian) outright making fools out of the innocent team (they won twice that episode, three times if you include the bees win triggered by Rhytian killing everyone with a Red Matter Bomb), it's hard to argue that the meme really is true when they're probably not even in the top 10 for being responsible for the most incompetent plays, I reckon. Usually Rhytian and Ben get really unlucky, or Ben is just incompetent because according to the most recent stats he's the worst traitor player in the Yogscast (whereas Rhythian is fairly average overall but has a habit of sometimes being incredibly competent out of nowhere). In this case, they were fucked over by the randomat, a guess and Rhytian being forced to fight the entire innocent team solo. Also, they don't get paired up all that often, either.

It's a matter of her being among a lot of guys who just talk over each other so regardless of learning the rules, she doesn't have the room for bants. Bouphe and Osie for instance sometimes leave Lewis speechless with their zero filter. We need a little more of that so Shadow can add her two cents, I think. It's also a bit of a transition for Shadow because I think her usual twitch content is more PG/Family friendly? So it must be a struggle to switch from Family Mode to NC-17 like it's required here. That's before we even consider she needed to be up at 4am for some of these sessions... But yeah, she already looks like she's getting into the swing of it, but I think giving her different guys, gals and NB pals to bounce off would be a good idea.

what makes Ben and Rhythian be such a bad duo tho? Best I can come up with is that they both are quite slow players and only average at combat, meaning often something happens to them before they make their move

I think it's a couple of reasons, the biggest of which is that they are both frequent victims of RDM or suicide with Ben especially dying pretty much once per session to something like that. Ben is also one of the worst traitors and has a habit of outing himself early and dying, when Rhythian needs a traitor partner to do well (even if they don't do anything he just plays smarter with a duo). I think this is why Rhythian does so well with traitors that pretty much never out themselves like Zoey and Boba as they really balance out his play style by causing enough disruption that he can gun down the innocents.
