I think in terms of that, ping is not related to that, maybe it's your internet connection. For sure, the rework affects your FPS as it has more details added even in low graphics, even lighting was affected and got more realistic, there are even animated objects there like the ceiling fan. In my experience with the new rework map, my first games in the rework map where laggy but my ping isn't even high i even used my data with that. My ping was ranging from 45ms below when using data, and if i used internet, the lowest i got is 20ms. The lag was caused by FPS drops.
