Fun Fact: Nintendo ACTUALLY meant to add the 1300s Italian poet Dante Alighieri as a Mii costume (Hence why the series he comes from is called DANTE), so they hired a cosplayer. However, when Nintendo said to cosplay as "Dante", the cosplayer got confused and came as the Devil May Cry character. My uncle's dad's sister's third cousin's dog's grandpa works at Super Smash Bros, so he clarified this to me :)

He can do lots of things and Smash has a bit of a limit on move sets that were pushed really far with Kazuya. But the real question for Dante is, what moves would have made it in and which ones would be left out? Also how would devil trigger have worked?

It's a new rule with Western ESRB Ratings, where if the game itself is higher rated than the game it's coming to (in this case, whatever Smash's rating is), they can't say it's real name. Joker and Bayo NARROWLY came out before this rule got put into place, and in the Japanese version, they actually did use DMC as the title, only in the western version does it look like this. Yeah, it's dumb and I don't get it either, but it's a rule so...

@@bl00by_ Unfortunately some people were really stupid with Sephiroth. They TRIED acting like he wasn't one of the most iconic sword users in gaming history and JRPGs. Tried writing him off as "just another anime sword fighter" which is bullshit. Even I know that and I've only played Final Fantasy 3 and 9. I can kinda understand not knowing who tf this Kazuya dude is, I don't like any fighting game other than Smash so I've never touched Tekken, but Sephiroth? What rock were some people living under?
