This is one of my favorite Bible subjects. I was radically born again from being suicidal for 9 months and hearing God speak to me. I obeyed with getting baptized and listened to the Holy Spirit speak to me to teach me the Bible. On 3/16/17 the Lord gave me my first rapture dream and told me to do a YT channel and what to name it. I was a bit surprised when He said "Walking by the Spirit always" and asked God if I could not use the "always" and He said it had to have it there since it is the goal. Be sanctified and purify yourself as He is pure. The time of grace is running out. Jesus is coming for a sexually pure (even in the thoughts) Bride who is qualified to go in up to the wedding. Really read the Bible for yourself daily and DO what it says. It is love to warn others about what is coming. Jesus said that they will hate you because you love Jesus. I prayed every time I took the Lord's Supper as I was growing up for God to make me a more loving person. HE DID!! All glory to God and Jesus Christ His Son. The first time He spoke to me in prayer He said "FAITHFULNESS, deep spiritual change, some things you don't have to do". God did not allow me to divorce my adulterous husband because God makes the marriage and ends the marriage by death, not a divorce document. I have had to prove my love for my husband by praying for his salvation and staying faithful to my vows for 37 years though he divorced me in 2008. Our nation is very messed up, and preachers do not know what the Word of God says. Read it for yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and guide you to all truth. Worship the Lord Jesus and stay ready to meet Him every day.

The Battle is Won Nordic. We must stay equipped. We are creation from God. Why I mention that we are creation is because this means that we as beings have limits. Our intellectual minds can only go so far in the eyes of the Lord. So we only know & think what seems right to us through examination upon ourselves through our feelings & emotions or our situation we are in. Only through the work of the Holy Spirit can we overcome all that we go through. We have to die to our carnality constantly. Scripture says we must decrease so he can increase. Then, your body can become the Temple of the Holy Spirit. This is a decision, choose well. Be aware of Matthew 12: 43, 44, 45 and 46. Before you begin confess your sin-filled life to Jesus, the Christ of Nazareth asking Him to take over and close this conversation with Him in His name, believing. Then be consistent. Jesus will help you. He KNOWS we cannot accomplish these things without Him. Adam Gregerson you have to deny yourself and let Christ live through you brother! Stay in the word and in prayer and just be let go and let Christ do the rest! Many times we try to work it all out and that’s a battle you will always lose but if you truly just give up and let the power of the spirit move, there is no problem that can’t be removed but you have to die to self. We all tried that and it didn't work, Mathew 11: 28 to 30 . Jesus is waiting for us to see our selves as completely helpless without him! Jesus himself is the root to the fruits of the spirit. When a tree has good roots it will bear good fruits automatically. Jesus is the source of the fruits of the spirit. Read the four gospels Jesus never says clean yourself up and then come to me. He says just the opposite, because we can't become good on our own. Now we can make it look good on the outside, but our fruits will not last if we don't stay with Jesus. It's not about fixing ourselves, it's about becoming brand new all because of Jesus, not our own works , but his mercy and grace saves us now and forever. This post, it's message, is truly one that bears repeating ~especially the definition of what it means to be "gentle", "kind". That these attributes are derived from an inner strength, fierceness & clarity that can ONLY come from a relationship with Christ, an obedience to God's will. R C says that the woman forgiven of adultery was given grace and forgiveness, but he doesn't say what God expects- to go and sin no more. That means she couldn't commit adultery again and receive the same grace. Watch out for those who say we can stay in ANY kind of sexual immorality. Fornicators, adulterers, remarriage adulterers, porn addicts, those in pre-marital sex need to repent and be DONE with it. Repentance is not lip service to God. Repentance is to leave the sins we loved before and show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more! Remorse and repentance are not the same. Remorse is being sorry for getting caught. Thank you for expounding on the fruits of the Spirit ... which is so misunderstood today. The very sad reality is ... most professing Christians tend to "speed read" their Bibles ... like every other book on the shelf. This makes me want to cry ... because diligent study is so rewarding and brings such joy as we go deeper and deeper into what God really meant by what He said ... and solves so many problems that could prevent needless suffering Also another ... (selfish) ... reason it makes me sad ... is that it is very difficult to fellowship in the Word with someone who does not really know what is being described in the context ... so this can also be spiritually isolating. Through any situation God can use you to do something. He is still the God of the impossible. Even though the storm is raging and can destroy you completely and break you down, Jesus is with you always. He will use your situation for His glory and lift you to heights you never believed were possible. In my life at just 15 I gained the one thing from God which gave me joy beyond explanation. It was ripped away from me, but in that brokenness the spirit of God spoke to me that He brought it to me and will bring the dead back to life. He will deliver you, need only to trust Him. Go to God in brokenness and pain and He will lead you, commit yourself to God and believe Him, in His perfect timing you will be delivered. Trust God. Look to any story in the Bible and you will find a hope for what you are going through. Jesus said come forth to Lazarus and he rose from the dead, Jesus stood up and said be still and the waves and wind died. Knowing these things don’t even dare to worry about your future and what might happen. Just Trust God He means Good for your Life. God did the impossible for me and brought a dead relationship after so much time back to life and God worked in me to glorify His name at the same time through the Holy Spirit. Trust God for He will never forsake you. In His timing He will deliver you. If you see this then just Trust God. He will deliver you. Just Believe. Even when I was discouraged to a point of questioning my battle, remember God gets things to a place of impossibility, God allows it to get so hopeless to the natural eye, but just remember that God is faithful and the same God that created the universe and woke you up this morning is fighting for you. Just trust Him, your miracle is almost here, keep going. Keep Believing because God will not fail you.

I am addicted to suboxone. It is a pharmaceutical sythictic opiate used for opiate addiction recovery. It doesn't get you wasted or high to the point of being unable to function. Its equivalent to an alcoholic always having one single beer in there system. I am reducing my intake. It is my final sin and I am working on it. I don't know if this qualifies as being a drunkard. It is a focus in my life but Jesus is the focus of my life. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

One day at a time, keep going and dont give up! You've come this far to self evaluate yourself and realize what you must do to change and how to get there. As you said, you are reducing your intake and I'm praying for you to overcome it completely. I am not the person to judge to see if you qualify as drunkard since I dont know you personally, but just trust in God for Him to illuminate and guide your conscience to answer it to you. In the meantime, just never forget that 1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Taper off slowly. I reduced my amount ever so tiny every 10 days. Once I was off completely the withdrawals came 3 days later. It stays built up inside a while. While you are on suboxone do you absolutely best at educating yourself about mental health and learning God's Word. The Bible is so important. Please buy the book "Telling yourself the truth" by Backus & Chapian. I have read it several times. At first I threw it across the room in anger, now I buy it in bulk on eBay and Thriftbooks and give them to ppl along with other Christian literature. Now back to the suboxone addiction, you can do it. Christ will guide you. I stocked up on various amino acids and a few other supplements for brain cell regeneration, depression and anxiety. As for staving off withdrawal about 90%, I used powder Kratom in hot water. Tastes icky at first. If you are not prepared you may easily bevome addicted to Kratom. So have an exit plan and taper slowly from that also. God bless you. I am 100% Rx free for 3 yrs now! Was an addict for over 10 yrs! You can do it! Any questions, I'll do my best to Remember and answer the best I can. Dear Heavenly father, please guide and bless this child of yours into a sober mind.
