I can never take seriously any Thinker, Philosopher, Scientist, Author etc who does not understand that there is one God and he rules the cosmos. Marcus was a very serious man, humble and wise.

I like it, but I find it hard to stay focused when using modern language like "chill" and "vibe to it" It takes away the more serious demeanor

Wondering if the translations are just overly modernized. Marcus would not have known what chess was (didn't get invented for another 500 years and then it was in India) so he wouldn't have used it as an allegory.
