And since this video, I've tried my hand at it as well, and I've already learned the distance to be from a survivor to hit them with a minimum charge hatchet sent as straight up as possible. BTW the game itself has a key binding to look up and another to look down (both unassigned by default); This means the killer can look up and down in a perfect straight line (which would be harder to do with the mouse). He puts his target in the middle of his screen, gauges the distance, press the key to look straight up in the right angle and shoots it with the right force (usually max force or something close to it). It's the art of repetition. First you learn the measurements through trial and error, then you repeat it until it becomes as natural to you as basketball players shoot for the hoop.

There used to be a player called Sverkeren who did stuff like this, but didn't like doing lots of orbital shots because people got used to it and expected them. So he would also chase and hit people with shots when they thought they were safe behind cover by knowing precisely how tall the hitboxes of the terrain geometry were and how high the survivor hitboxes went over their character models. You'd see him hit hatchets in close proximity over forehead-level high walls. No where was safe if you weren't paying attention at all times.

Some killer players are just so skilled they can get incredible value from their power like nothing survivors have ever seen before. To be hit from across the map with perfect accuracy takes experience, perks, knowledge and understanding of the power and above all, luck. Luck that your target continues to run toward your shot or stand still for it. For every aspect of a shot to be accurate is crazy to comprehend. The counter? Assume every Huntress is running aura perks, listen to the power sound affect, and hide/ dodge. All the effort put into learning cross map shots are thrown out the window if you take a moment to locate and dodge the hatchet.

It really is as simple as being careful, to counter this stuff. I made it a habit to stop what i'm doing and watch my surroundings for cover whenever i hear the hatchet shing sound. Never got crossmapped in my entire dbd career cuz of it.

Let me tell ya guys, I'm not DBD player(a game that cost upfront but has micro transactions is wild, not for me guys 😅) but I am a Team Fortress 2 enjoyer and lemme tell ya, there's a reason 8/10 hackers/bots in our games use hitscan, cuz projectiles suck for aimbots so most hackers don't use projectile hacks. And that 2/10 of hackers use Direct Hit, an unlock that makes projectiles zoom so fast it's almost a hitscan. So yep, looking from the footage this huntress throwable axes aren't that fast and on top of that, that dude making predictions from across a HUGE map, that's also another weakness of aimbots. So maybe I'm not familiar with DBD and y'all somehow have hackers that figure out projectile hacks, but if you get sniper by huntress you're more likely to be playing vs a human compared to a hacker cuz it's just easier for human to do it and not hacks

Orbitals are a little harder than normal shots, but not as hard as it looks if you’re using a generator aura as a reference point. Basically you can tell from the aura if you look at it very closely if you have just gotten in range for an orbital. Then all you have to do is aim straight up and throw, assuming you’re otherwise lined up to hit the survivor on it like a normal throw would. (In particular if you just barely see the wires on the light post you’re in orbital range.) What’s much, much harder to hit are shots where you either are threading the needle through very tight openings (at least without a cursor helping), very long range non-orbital shots where the survivor isn’t stationary, and hitting orbitals on survivors who aren’t on generators but are just very far away where you don’t have a good reference for distance.

As a Huntress main enthusiastic. Why do I think this huntress is not cheating? None of these insane shots are in the same video. This video is a mix of SEVERAL different trials. I believe this is a mixture of his best shots on 1 video. (which is obvious lol) even tho he has multiple double shots within a second, isn't enough to think he's cheating. He's actually that good! This guy don't upload every single day. This guy takes MONTHS to make a video like this! So he had time to make a video like this. (Which is amazing!) Stuff like this changes how people play Huntress, even in 2023 lol this guy takes so much time into perfecting his videos, he's willing to take the time to go to the next level! A level that 95% of gamers don't experience in DBD. Absolutely amazing content! 👏

most of huntress players like me go into games and treat it like a practise run, kills, iri rank, prestige, and high mmr is just side effect. I mean you can do all this, or just reach the same mmr bracket by playing a good blight or noed every game. + thats why you should not use skills on a killer you are learining loosing is important so it does not shoot up and you get way to hard stomped cause then you learn nothing. take your time. This goes for ever killer not just huntress. Coming from league, vainglory, and dota, unless you have good amount of hours in a champ no matter what rank you are people will not take you serious, cause you dont have the parctise necesarry. By this league players are the worst cause they treat everything as low elo lmao.
