Wild- we have a orange cat who also sneezes all over the place and actual snot flies out- our vet told us it’s a type of feline herpes and since it doesn’t effect him daily there really isn’t much that will make it go away- he also is squinty and usually walks around with one eye half open 😂 he’s such an affectionate cat also

Has Mogli had a respiratory PCR test? They are fairly expensive. It seems Vets never mention this test. It will pinpoint a specific respiratory infection and then you will know which antibiotic should fix the issue. You may be giving him the wrong antibiotic for the infection he might have. My Vet kept giving me Clavamox for a general infection and it never worked. Because it was not the right one for Mycoplasma which is what my cat has and sneezes a lot. PCR test gave me the answer finally after years of her being sick.

I've always wondered are hypoallergenic cat breeds (like the dog breeds) good for people with allergies? Because I can now be around any dog really and not have any problems at all. But growing up I've always wanted a cat but I was way too allergic... do you have any advice?

My half sister had a russian blue. Beautiful cat, beautiful eyes, absolutely VISCIOUS to my dog. She was a wild cat somewhat domesticated. A snake got her this summer. But she was such a good girl.

My cat had 3 big kidney stones ... had to put him down because after the eyeful he would need more surgeries extra vet visits & special diet so quality of life wasn't there anymore

Jess, I am so happy you know of the leukemia shot for cats, I was gonna recommend getting them that shot before you said you did. My very first cat I had, I knew nothing about cats and she died to leukemia in 2010. And so I make it my mission now that every cat I get, weather they are inside or outside they will 100% be getting that shot because I NEVER want to go through what I did with my first cat. And I recommend everyone who has a cat to also get the leukemia prevenative shot for their babies because what I had to witness with my Smokey I never want anyone to witness that or go through what I did T-T

I’m so sorry for your loss! I had the same thing happen to my 1st cat. It was so sad. I had no idea what was happening to him. He couldn’t walk, was peeing on himself and super sleepy. It happened so fast too. I took him to the vet and they said he had feline leukemia virus and he was out to sleep. Come to find out the mother cat had it and passed it to her babies. I rescued a kitten from a neighbor who moved out and left him behind this summer. He was only 6 weeks old. At 8 weeks we gave him his 1st vaccine. He’s 6 months old now and only needs 1 more vaccine. He’s a savannah/maine coon.

Russian Blues are the clingiest cats out there. Mogli would be considered a short haired Russian Blue, I have a long haired one and he is like Mogli, follows me everywhere and will demand food. I got mine from a shelter and if I wanted to get him from a breeder, easy $2500 at least. They’re expensive cats but so worth it.

My 5 year old girl cat just starting peeing in one spot the last few weeks. She’s never done this I assumed it’s because she wants a mate and more cats have been around my house more lately so maybe she can sense them or something idk but my cat is also healthy

My boy cat same breed would pee and we went for an ultrasound for another thing and found out has an undescended testicle so he was spraying everywhere once I got him correctly fixed it stopped

Our family cat is also really sneezey and has lots of snot and it turns out he does have kitty allergies! He gets a steroid shot every few months and that helps a lot!

Have you tried using feel away classic diffuser it calm the cat and stops them from peeing or if it’s just one spot there is something called sscat that put were the cat is peeing and it sprays air at them

Sorry this is about to be a long one Jess ; Words can’t even express how much I adore watching you and Chris interact with not only each other but the kids. All 7 of them are BOTH of your babies. The love and admiration in your expressions when you look at each child, and the way you two get the look of teenagers in love for the first time whenever you guys are talking to each other is adorable and makes me hope that me and my husband (married at 18/19, now 20/21) can stay that way too. Will never understand how people can say you two arnt happy together. I’ve been watching for years and feel like I’ve grown up with you and your fam vicariously. I can remember watching as a child, falling out with the vlogging genre, and back into it after remembering you a few years ago. Your videos make your viewers feel as if we are just having a tea sesh, and it’s just a chill vibe. In a world of over the top overstimulating vids, it’s nice to just relax and feel cozy and like you’re getting a 1 on 1 like old YT. All that to say, keep it up Jess for as long as you feel mentally fulfilled, and I can’t wait to see what you and your family continue to do to blossom and succeed!!

I also had this issue with an older cat I adopted! He was 11 when we got him and had multiple rotten teeth, he sneezed a lot also and since the teeth issues got fixed he doesn’t do it as much anymore xx

My sister has a Russian blue cat. They didn’t fix any of the cats that were on their property so they had a TON. But the absolute variety is crazy. They had tabby’s, tabby’s with socks, orange tabby’s, calicos and even Siamese. My sisters cat was one of the few that didn’t pass as a kitten (let’s just say my dad cannot be trusted around animals) and her cat looks just like mogly but with about 3 inch long fur. My sister is obviously her person but when I did go over there her cat was obsessed with me. I woke up one day to her sleeping on my face. 😂 my sister said if anything happens to her I get her cat. Which is a bit concerning since she’s only 13 but if anything did happen I’ll gladly take that literally suffocating cuddle bug. She’s also a great hunter! Caught all the scorpions in that crusty musty house. Just scream “RUBY GET IT” and she’s sitting there 3 seconds later chewing it like it’s popcorn 😭💀
