That salad plate she used to trace on the paper plate is beautiful. Also, thank you for this channel and all you post. I was deemed unable to work due to my FND and left with a lot of time on my hands. I love crafting and this channel has definitely helped me to occupy my time.

Instead of cutting cardboard wedges, I would use 4 thin pieces of tape and paint the whole thing orange (or whatever color you want). Then I'd remove the tape to reveal all the slices at once. Also, I'd use a sponge to paint in order to give it a more realistic fruit look, and maybe add a few seeds.

Ladies (and Gentlemen) do not forget that most of us have a ton of old make up brushes that we haven’t touched in forever or were gifts with a purchase…..they are a great go to for these painting crafts as the bristles are usually too stiff for make up but great quality for crafts!!!! Plus save some money!
