Great video! Love your initial in-depth review. Guys who are wondering there are a few Parameters that we will release an update to fix where they are missing ones from the CTS2. The great thing is the Wifi makes it an easy update!

Your exhaust pressure gauge(Back Pressure Gauge), isn't working because your tube to the sensor coming off the exhaust manifold is removed. The factory exhaust manifold has a metal tube coming out of it and it goes to the side of the thermostat housing because the exhaust pressure sensor is made into it to keep sensor cooled down from the hot exhaust .

I saw a side by side comparison between cts2 and cts3 and it seems like the cts3 has some issues but that doesn’t mean it won’t be updated to work with newer trucks it’s all preference 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cts3 way better... cts2 was laggy you gotta hit the button alot just dor it to work. It's basically an old ass computer that's leggy as hell.

My cts 3 also did the same as yours did. I had to unplug the hdmi cord and reinsert it. As it did a reset or something. Works fine now. I live in a apartment so getting my wifi signal will be difficupt to update if i need to.

Im having issues getting the CTS3 to work. I replaced my CTS2 with it. I am missing PIDs I had before and some that it does show don't work properly. I have been waiting on tech support for about 3 weeks now with no resolution. Over all it works quicker loads quicker and I love all the customization you can do with it. Just wish I could get my issues addressed and quit being told they are working on it and will get back to me.

What boost psi does the new cts3 read up to? About to pull the trigger on pillar gauges to go with my EGT gauge on my steering column, and this may be a possibility......what's your opinion since you have both?? My other gauge is an isspro.

That’s a good question my CTS2 boost gauge stops at 22 psi but the glow shift boost gauge reads over 45 psi.

The highest is reads is 32 or 38psi. Thats not cause the cts it cause thats the highest the map sensor can read.

I had those 3 guages before I ever had a monitor, i added the monitor to give me more stats and information so I like both of them.

I had a diabolo which had the same screen on my gas at one time it had its hiccups but over all it wasn't to bad of a screen and most the time it stay on point when I started the truck the pid where there but don't let it get hot screen will crack and it will do what it want and did have some freezing and rebooting going on.

I have one in my 06 chevy duramax with efilive programing. The cts3 will not get the pids 9 times out of 10. It is pretty much useless to me ag this point. I hope they make an update to fix that issue.

Yea but the screen goes black looking at it with polarized prescription sunglasses you can't see a thing ,drop down your glasses and there it is bright as can be

Got mine just for the forced regine and to watch my egt and dpf info. Plus u can upgrade to the tunes for 250 bucks when your ready.

Great video brother as usual, I have a question I know you did your gears not to long ago and I was wandering how much the install cost roughly, I’m doing my gears in the next 2 weeks, and I want to budget and I have nothing to compare it to or know anyone who has done gears, I have got prices for 1800-2400 Canada prices like $1300-$1900 us, please let me know also they said it could take two days is this Normal? Love your videos. Helped me buy the cts3! I like it so far. Only thing is that I used the mileage options alot....mpg, averages, etc....depending on if I'm pulling anything or long trips. I like to see my mpg and whatnot. I cant find that in the pids on the cts3. Any ideas? Thanks!!

So I’ve heard so much about this CTS3 Insight. My main question about it that I haven’t seen anyone talk about is the tuning. Does it have the same tuning as the CTS2 pushing out up to something like 120hp and 200 or 300 torque for diesels? Or is it just a monitor for your gauges? If it does I definitely might switch over cause it does look pretty sick.

Edge Insight Monoitors are not tuners, they are strictly monitors to watch different parameters. If u want same screen with tuning u can look into the edge juice or edge Evolution for tuning but its only applicable to emission intact trucks

Also, the Evolution CTS3 (tuner and monitor) will be released later this summer.

So far in day one of using its doing me fine. I guess those issues I had were just hiccups, but th ebp one is a glitch for sure. Its like anytime New software comes out its gonna have a few rough patches updates will smooth it out, especially being wifi updates let is pretty cool.

Bought CTS 3 worked updated it added EGT probe to it and cant get the Damn thing working turning in to a big headache kinda wish i never bought the damn thing now!

After the first set up the CTS3 powers right up to gauges. So on your next starts it takes about 2 seconds to get the readings going. Just an FYI. Talked with Cameron to make sure he is seeing this now that it is set up.

That's glad to hear, thanks for clearing that up. Soooooo the more I see these reviews the more I like it. I really really like the layout choices and I think I'm gonna jump ship. Cameron buddy that truck is bad to the bone broha keep up the good work. After having some more time with it do u still like it, how's the glare? The boost PID on my CTS3 in my 97 PowerStroke reads 2048psi at idle. If I put my CTS2 back in it works just fine.
