Salary and Deductions everything will be as per standard Level 10, 7th CPC after joining.

Its hectic, you have exams every week, you have to clear those mandatorily.

You need to pass all the exams and viva during training to get placed. Ranks will only affect the placement choices available to you after completion of training, Top ranker get maximum choices and last person gets no choice.

You can write a letter to TSH warden requesting for stay at NBH, it is another hostel beside TSH. They might allow you to stay there charging a little more, considering your case. Or you can request them to stay outside of township at your own arrangements privately, you will have to travel a little in this case.

Yes they will allow you but no guarantee that you will be posted in that particular division only. However you can do PhD and study as much as u want about the domain of your interest.
