Hi Ben.since your well versed with Himalayan bikes,i'd like to enquire about the electricals.I own a BS3-2016 model in super mint condition, done only 17k kms.Ive never used it in rains ever but idle start it daily.Normally the battery light turned off on revving but now sometimes it stays ON and battery runs down..Is it due to the RR unit or the magnetic coil or do i need to use the bike.asking as parts are expensive(RR unit-3300.Magnetic coil 3700).please guide me Jeet kandhari.Mumbai.

Could be EITHER or both . Get the resistance checked at the service centre . Also use the bike atleast once a week . Ride well .

Yet another great video, Ben. I have a question in the handle bar end weights, the KTM one which you are using, are those available at the KTM/Bajaj spares and will they go with the AOM handle bar. If possible pls add the link in the bio.. Pls advise. Loved the last part of the video, where you mention the why, that’s why I watch your videos . Hello Ben, You are really wrong!!!! You said, Aluminium doesn't break. That's really wrong!!! Steel doesn't break. Thats's right. I use on my two Himalayans aktually the best Handguards i think. Look to the pieces of Acerbis! In Europe they cost 50 % lower than Barkbusters. When it is necessary, yuo can change the Plastics for a small price. But once more: Aluninium breaks down, really!!! Hi Peter , aluminium breaks yes. This one doesn’t . This is a lot malleable than STIFFER aluminium spines from other manufacturers. And I am talking STRICTLY from experience of bending them back to shape after nasty falls
