It's probably because of her personality. She's so different from most South Korean women. I mean, not to stereotype and I know they have to act a certain way in public because of how strict korean standards are which is what what amazes me about Ji Hyo coz she doesn't care about none of that. She just do her thing. She is so unique that she always gets people's attention. There were guests who were a lot prettier than her but... She just really stands out. I even noticed that most women guests in running man are copying her attitude and stuff like that, which I think they do to make the episode interesting.

Song Ji Hyo's facial proportions are near perfect and very comparable to the Golden Ratio of beauty. I've been watching Runningman since ep.1, and had only recently realized why she always slept whenever she has the time (in Runningman) : it's because she works too hard..between filming RM, she's filming dramas, films and doing promotions for her works and endorsements... Harsh criticisms, on top of having to work all the time to stay on top of the game, with little to no privacy impinging on possible relationships. Happy to hear that Running Man allows her to be herself and let loose in such an otherwise image-obsessed industry. In 2016 there was a scandal where she was almost removed from the show (along with Kim Jong Kook) but the Korean and international fans complained and said that they won't watch the program without her and the channel and it's board of directors were heavily criticized by Korean netizens for an attempt at forcible removal of 2 innocent cast members loved by the general public. Yu Jae Suk and the other members said that they will all leave if those 2 members were removed because they are all one big family, since then she has always mentioned in her interviews that she is thankful towards those who support her and wants to stay in the show till the end only because of the strong relationship she has with the members, the production team and the promise she made with the fans. I honestly hope that she would free herself from the responsibility now, she has done her best all along, she doesn't have to be burdened by the immense love and support that she has received, instead it's better if she only made choices that will benefit her in the future.

Everything comes to an end at some point. Look at Gary, even those he faces criticism for quitting, getting married in secret, moving on completely from RM, but his loyal fans still stay with him. And Gary is actually happy with his little family now. I hope SJH can step back and take care of her personal life. I was a fan since 2007. I've even made a yt channel so that I can post my first ever edited video "the compilation of Song Ji Hyo's photos" with the background song called So Simple by Stacie Orrico. I started to like Song Ji Hyo in Jumong. I don't know why I was smitten already by her charm at that time when I had no idea who she was. Maybe it's the the simplicity of her beauty. I have no idea about her cute personality during that time. All I know is that in 2007, my dream is to look like her. 😂 Then I began to see some of her films. I watch her horror film although I hate horror. I also watched Sex is Zero and Frozen Flower. Then I got a glimpse of her in Family Outing where she danced Hot Issue which I tried to learn. Then the biggest break happened, Running Man. Because of her, I become a fan of Song Joong Ki. I used to dislike Joong Ki when I read in an article that he thought SJY is Sandara Park. Not that I don't like Sandara (she's actually one of my favorites) but during that time I thought Joong Ki is bullying JiHyo and so I got annoyed and I did my best to be able to watch Running Man. I was trying to search RM everywhere but couldn't find it. Until I found a website with great subs and got to find out that Joong Ki's teasing is his way to make Ji Hyo comfortable and have a sense of belongingness in the team. When Joong Ki left, I felt heart broken but I continued supporting both of them. I just love the fact that my two favorite RM members are literally famous now. I just hope that they find their true love. I no longer ship them. I just want them happy. Fighting my forever favorite Song Ji Hyo. I'm so happy for you and I'm grateful to your thousands of fans.
