Well not every one is comfortable in Indian wear, the dress code is too much strict this much strict Ness is not good too like basic casual like trouser, track pants, lose t-shirts ( not tight or too short), lose pants for girls should aleast be allowed

Yes you can For boys its preferred Western formals:- Shirt Pant and Shoes for girls, it's Indian wear and western wear both but not any revealing clothes proper formal clothes, or indie
