First of all, I think your posts are great, I understand the machine. but she still bothers me. the scissors open and close . when I run it by hand it looks perfect, but as soon as I start tufting something seems to go wrong. when I turn on the machine, the scissors are always in a different position. Hello first of all thank you so much for all your very useful videos! I watched them all and did all the adjustments as you explained.. But I still have the same problem, I'm starting to lose hope: for each line tufted, the double strands coming out of the other side are very uneven in size, on the left a line of normal size strands (1,5cm) and on the right very small strands (2mm), I really tried every combination of settings on the scissor opener and closer I don't know what more I can do.. Would you know the solution to my problem? Thank you so much in advance 🙏🙏🙏

The thread is getting stuck in the scissors of my tufting machine. What might be the problem?

Could be different things, like: - The thread is too thick and can't be cut - The yarn is too strong/unsoft and it's splitting the scissors instead of cutting it - The scissors became dull over time

Could this be why my cotton yarn doesn’t get fully cut and almost becomes a loop? It doesn’t happen with my wool yarn but the wool does occasionally cut onto the wrong side of the cloth

Cotton us also a bit firmer than wool. This could be a scissors closer mechanism problem, but maybe also the cotton is too thick and slipping out of the scissors? Cutting on the wrong side of the cloth is not really possible, the scissors are inside at this very moment,. I think this might be a different problem. Feel free to send me pictures and videos of the situation to [e-mail] so we can have a closer look at this

if the scissors block isn't opening or closing the scissors, what do I need to do? it's not pushing it open and it's hard to manually open them too
