i joined online MGP from forum ias, they also did same thing, i got so much disappointed that even after writing everything i am not getting marks. It was total waste of money. And when someone get selected they coax them to say good things about them. Thanks for bringing this out. This is not at all easy to do. Words are not enough for the selfless service you are doing for the aspirant community. Yes sir , this is the main issue regarding answers , they don't even write ki kaha improve krna and say ki this is good and this is that and blah blah.... sometimes I ask mentors of coaching about what to write in a particular answer to score good but didn't got any satisfactory answer. Brother, i thought the same when one so called “MOST RESPECTED TEACHER OF UPSC” said in a youtube short that how upsc evaluators check answerst. He said evaluators at UPSC only check first answer in a copy and mark others according to the marks scored in first , taking the marks of first as the best of that particular student I was like mannn whats going on . What message does it send to hardworking aspirants. A huge narrative is build around every famous teacher and aspirants just make a cult out of it. They literally cannot think beyond them . I called out my PSIR evaluator (not from any coaching) for giving low marks and faulty checking and in reply i got 2 paragraphs of cuss that i will never be able to clear this mains 2023.... Just imagine an evaluator who is probably 10 years old than me saying me this just because i called out his checking, before 2 months of mains... the industry can not tolerate truth and thats final. even if we call out, all we get is cuss in messages.

I have never commented on a YT video ever. But I feel this video deserves my humble opinion and more. I'll share my experience. Last year I applied for Mainstorming 2023 in Shankar IAS in Chennai. I still have my brochure for the programme. It mentions that we will be given a Prelims break from January. But after Prelims no communication from them until I called them. They didn't respond well and asked me to mail. After that they sent me a Google form and asked fee receipt and if I'd ever attempted Mains and just put me in their new Mains batch for freshers. Not even proper communication for the 17k i paid. And in my first ever essay test, they gave me 122 and it was so naive of me to feel proud about it😂.

Truth!! As testimony - I scored 141 marks in Optional P1... despite not knowing answers to questions worth around 70-80 marks!! And just 2-3 days back I was telling a friend I feel mujhe around 100 marks mai 80% se kam nahi mila hoga....maine aesa likha tha. This video pretty much sums up that! Now I'm confident ki aesa hi hua hoga! This is so crucial to know...will change one's whole strategy! Kudos 👏

Just mind blowing explanation sir....this finally cleared my doubt that i had since long...Mridul shivhare sir told in many interviews that due to his bad health he left in all 170 marks paper ...just left...but whatever answers he attempted he did his best...then too after leaving answers for this huge marks he could make it....I was always doubtful that how was it even possible kyuki the questions he attempted would have in their best were marked only half of the total.... This is a harsh reality of every competitive exam coaching. I personally joined the Mains series not for the evaluation but for having a structured preparation and revision along with devising a strategy to make best use of my content. It all boils down to your expectations, leave apart marks one can by reading the remarks understand how poor of an evaluation it is. Also there is nothing called a model answer for it is not being given by UPSC.

In general I've known of this thing being practiced by coaching institutes after two-three attempts. What baffles me is that for so many people this is eye opening and they never really wondered about this earlier on their own and need people to keep providing proofs. As a serious aspirant I'll be knowing my strengths and weaknesses. GS mei somehow PPL manage to go with confidence and write good answers accordingly even in real exam. I would like to talk about an organization, and an individual here Vision Ias and Kaptaan Jack Sparrow (from TG, now a selected officer and many more such officers who are running courses to exploit the aspirants) Vision IAS : I was a student at vision IAS classroom program and man what shit level of evaluation. Just like Satyam Sir said that average number dete hain ye, I was shocked too ki ache answer k liye 5.5 and bure k liye 4.5 ? I went to one the student counsellors and asked the same question. He was like UPSC aise hi number deti hai. Just imaging an aspirant newly into the system and gullible so much so that they would accept whatever has been said and asked to be done. I asked ki 10 mein 7-8 number lane k liye kya karna hoga to which they said utne number to hum dete hi nahi hain allowed nahi hai. Kaptaan Jack Sparrow : This guy may have built a community to help people during their journey but now he is on an exploitation journey. Ek baar trust baitha liya student community k beech ab fayda uthao jam kar. He has launched umpteen courses. Jismein koi ek bhi pura complete nahi hota. Har session mein bakar chalega jaise ki Break up hua still I pushed myself and falana thikana. Bhai, no one is hear to study about your life story, right? Motivation k naam par apna zindagi mat becho. Secondly, hardly any professionalism shown. Suppose 10 sessions hain to usmein 6 to reschedule honge for another day. And rescheduled session mein : haan ye padh lena kaam ka , ismein research kar lena, ismein ye ismein wo. Bas mentorship k naam par chanda kheench rahe hain. Is baar ka TTS. Itne sare galat sawal uske itne galat jawab. Art and culture mein expertise hasil kar liye hain to bhar bhar k usse questions. Aur market mein hawa hai ki kaptaan bhaiya ki TTS se UPSC Question bana rahai hai. Session mein ladkiyan dikh jayengi to bhaiya simp king bann jate hain.
