At the start of 2021 I created Chargeheads to ELECTRIFY petrolheads essentially get more car enthusiasts into electric cars. An Electric Petrolhead if you like........A CHARGEHEAD!!!!
Embark on an electrifying adventure with me as I delve into the realm of EV conversions! My journey took me on a captivating exploration, visiting industry giants to uncover the perfect candidate for transformation. Amidst the array of options, I found myself drawn to the lesser-known gem, the TVR Tasmin 350i, affectionately known as the Wedge (#tvrwedgee). After meticulous evaluation, I decided to infuse this iconic beauty with electric vitality. With a TVR Griffith already igniting my passion for untamed, adrenaline-fueled rides without driver aids, the choice to electrify a TVR was a natural progression.
My 2nd project was electrifying a 1970's BSA Aerial 3 Tricycle Scooter into a fun short range deathtrap, that is #SpecialTrikee project! Partnering with my friend Vinny, we've injected new life into this classic ride, creating an electrifying experience like no other. Perfect for zipping around town on local jaunts, it's an absolute blast! Even Mrs. Chargehead affectionately dubs it my 'special scooter' - a charming nod to its origins as a humble 50cc two-stroke, now boasting a "dynamic" 250-watt motor
Introducing our latest endeavor: Rustee #RusteeTesla - the ultimate Tesla Model 3 Long Range upgrade project! Our mission? To elevate its aesthetics, enhance handling, and supercharge performance, all while retaining its unrivaled daily mileage and efficiency. How? By meticulously integrating recycled parts, we're not just making it better, but greener too. I hope to not only entertain with ChargeheadsUK Channel and the #TVRWedgee, #SpecialTrikee and #RusteeTesla builds, but also to inspire watchers to create their own greener transport.
With the help of leaders in their field like Ralph Hosier (Engineer, designer, builder of special vehicles, teacher, writer, TV presenter and trouble maker.
Ralph teaches Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Training (IMI Techsafe), builds some amazing one off projects and most of all is a top bloke!
He's the engineer behind #TVRWedgee the Electric TVR.

Not all Vespa's are scooters, some were 50cc and had pedals, so were actually Mopeds.

@@tivvy-xf4kz Fellton dont have EV Conversion prices, just prices for kits, the silent classic cars the 240z is a Jack's car not for sale and thr fiat 500 is a demo. Which car did you want a price for?

@@chargeheadsuk None but I would like to see an emphasis at the lower end of the market rather than the the latest whizz bang tech laden model that costs too much for the average person. If EV's are to really take off we really need the information so that those with less income can possibly buy something. I'm fed up of the usual announcements showing the latest "affordable" vehicle. Nothing and I repeat nothing currently on sale is affordable to me.

My 33% battery degraded 8 year old, 40 k mile EV stops me ever considering another EV, ever again. Not fit for purpose and you need two to last the same time as an ice car in my experience, how can that be an environmental improvement ?

I had an engine blow up on an ICE vehicle after 4 years so I'm never going to buy one of those again because all ICE cars and engines are the same, and none are ever developed and improved over time.
