I know they've said that the new LP isn't about politics/current affairs. But this song in particular reminds me of a certain world leader. Not difficult to imagine which one with the imagery employed. In fact, it could be a couple of them!

it sounds like he says "more than enemy" at the end, which i like, even if it says "my enemy" in the text.. reminds me of how a lot of stories characterise villains & heroes with their casual relationships; their personalities clash but also compliment each other in a way that if one ever DID defeat the other, they would be left incomplete

One of those very few songs that keeps getting better and bigger with every listen ... like a fatberg! ... Well, maybe not so much the "better" bit (in terms of a Cthulu-type deity created out of crap and toilet rolls). Brilliant album, and apparently album no.6 is starting in the works!
