One of the best emotional moment frieren gived me was when she was asked about the get finally an apprentice, she coldly asweared with “i wont couse it would die in no time and so it would be useless”. Despise the fact the frieren learnt how feelings works from Himel, she will never admit how it will be painfull for her one more time see someone who you nourish and care about like an apprendice to die before her. “I told you to forget me but you stay by my side” such a great sentence which fit frieren perfectly, she doesn’t want an apprendice couse it’s pointless for her but couse she just don’t want to see her die like himel. Frieren’s journey isn’t about become the greatest wizard of all the time but to become human.

This gave me flashbacks of my high school days. Graduation was bittersweet, college was fulfilling, then the job hunting and work grind was hellish. Lost friends along the way. Year-long relationships were broken in just one moment. Made new friends, identified the people that will stay with you till the end. Had High days, the low days. Swirling in constant flux, feeling lost, only to regain your footing, then fall down, then up, again and again. Life has been hard, but the journey was absolutely worth it. Nice work. It threw nostalgia to my face. Thank you.

great clip selection and pacing, the font you used in the beginning was amazing. I really liked the parts where the aspect ratio changes, but I wish you synced it to the music more, it feels a little random right now. I noticed certain points where the quality dipped so I would recommend downloading the episode files themselves from something like nyaa. Also, not everything is synced to the beat, like at 0:16. Lastly, don't be afraid to play with filters to increase vibrancy/contrast at certain point. that is all to say that it still looks great though, good work :D

Thanks for the compliments. I’m aware of the flaws in my video as I am the one who made it. (eg. Quality dip due to one of the episodes being in 720p instead of 1080p because I’m blind and download the wrong episode. Not being synced to the beat due to my extremely awful sense of rhythm. And my computer can’t actually handle video editing lmao, all the program crashing). Lack of filters is a personal preference. But in the end, despite my lack of skill, I make this for myself to make myself happy. c: I always recommend if you see flaws in someone else’s work/think it can be better/give unsolicited advice, then be the change and make your own AMV and add to the community. I would love to see your own work and ideas come to fruition.

@@yumiaria hey fair enough, i might have come off as too critical in my initial comment, I still think the amv sold me on the mood that you were going for perfectly. sucks that ur PC cant handle editing lol, I'm in that same boat ;_; if you're interested in still increasing the quality but editing faster, use proxies. premiere can create 480p proxies that will be upscaled when you render

I also made a SnF AMV to Everything Goes On that I've been working on intermittently since the anime first aired! I just posted in on my channel a few days ago. As soon as I heard the song I knew it'd be a perfect fit. I really love this AMV and your take on it. Can I ask what editing software you use and how you created the effect with the black bars at the top and bottom fading outwards/away around 1:00?
@yumiaria11 ай бұрын
Exciting to hear to made your own AMV as well!!! I'm glad someone else had the same idea. This song is so perfect for them! c: For editing I use Sony Vegas Pro 18, only because it's what I know from me dabbling in AMV making like 14 years ago. I'm sure there are better AMV Programs out there now, but this is just what I know/am used to. Black Bars for the widescreen effect is done by creating a new solid color layer on top. Switch it to masking layer (three lines on the layer editing tool and select mask). And then messing with the event pan/crop tool. (Deselect keep aspect ratio and to select the the area you want to mask off, which creates the masking effect, in this case black bars.) (edit: The black bars fading away deals with key frames. Make a key frame where the bars normally are and make a key frame where you want the bars to end. It'll just create that fade effect. This should work the same on da vinchi and sony vegas, as they all have the same/similar features) I hope that helps! if not, I just recommend youtubeing tutorials as it helps out visually as well.
