Just want to give some update as everything has changed since I've recorded this (YESTERDAY!!). - Brayden Point practiced today, looks like he will play this week - Tage Thompson practiced today, same thing as Point - looks like he will draw back into the lineup - Devon Levi sent down - Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is back & Reimer will be backing him up - Pyotr Kochetkov played last night (after recording) - Alexandre Georgiev placed on IR - Annunen now is the #1 in Colorado .... anything else I missed feel free to leave a comment!

I need to open up maybe 1-2 spots. Who do I drop? Protas (he's been producing, but I'll probably only get 1 more game out of him this week. Ovi also got hurt last night, so who knows how that will impact his production), Guenther (good schedule this week, but not sure about production), Rakell (line 1, pp1 with Crosby, plus peripherals), Clarke (taken off of pp1), Dorofeyev, Garland (third line now, but still pp1 and getting 19 minutes a night), Sanderson (still pp1), then there's Lehkonen, Nichushkin, Vilardi, Peterka, Caufield. 12 team, H2H, G, A, P, PPP, SOG, HIT, BLK, PIM

I am in a 12 team pts league with my longtime friends. Half are invested, half are not very involved. Any suggestion on how to police fleecing? We’ve tried different veto methods, not sure which is best. It seems like a competition every year of who can rip the less involved teams off, not fair competitive trades. Even considered two leagues with relegation and promotion, higher buy in, idk.

Don't get too excited about Point's return. Although it hasn't officially been published, Point injured his groin. As someone who's had groin injuries before, trust me, they do not heal quickly. Even when you think you're ready to return and there's no pain, the tendon is still weak and will give out again. One of the reasons they're such nagging injuries usually.

Gotta disagree. Seattle plays very well. Last night should've been 5-2 win over the Rangers. They have really good puck handling. The passes between players is amazing. Quick was definitely on a mission.

@ blud hasn’t been injured since Tampa pulled a Vegas to win the cup. Matthews is basically week to week rn bro. Idk what kind of leagues you’re in but if you drafted 3rd overall and that pick only puts up 40 goals and 30 assist you might not even make playoffs. Last time this kind of injury happened to Matthews he only put up 40 goals.

Great job as always!!!! Any thoughts on Carter Verhaeghe? I took him in the fifth round over Tage Thompson because I suffered with TT last season and figured Verhaeghe was a safer bet. He's −8 on the season and just under performing. Obviously holding him on my roster but need some positive insight if the underlying metrics support it. Thanks. Matt. The Hockey Doc 👍🏒👍🍻
