For the people in the comments that are concerned about our baby not receiving a Christmas present under the tree ... I hear what you are saying and I hope you know that I am not against getting the baby a gift only because we are "on a budget". Our family has taken a more minimalist and mindful approach with our consumer habits in the recent years and because he didn't need anything, has plenty of toys, and dosent understand at this point how Christmas/ presents really work this is why we decided to go this way. But the season is still early and I may change my mind if I find something that he could use. Our kids are extremely loved and very important to us, thank you for your concern! ☺️❤️

The Be Kind dolls are so sweet! I love the message they give and the craft projects too. I have managed to find them in the UK and will be gifting my daughter a few of these this Christmas. Thanks for the recommendation!

I use the really big and tall gift bag and put each child's gift in their own bag. No more wrapping paper for us.

What we started with our kids last year, are Santa Sacks. They are reusable! I got them from Ross for $5.99 each. They’re pretty big & great quality. ❤ Also, at 9 months, their level of curiosity is beyond what we comprehend. I believe he should have something under the tree too. Even if it is handmade or involve the other 3 kids, filling a stocking or small bag with dollar tree items. ALL LOVE and RESPECT. ❤

Great gifts and while I don’t agree with all your philosophy I credit you for thinking things out. Agree, baby doesn’t need a gift. We didn’t “do Santa” so no problem explaining to our kids why the baby didn’t get gifts

We are just starting our homeschool journey. We dont do santa, screens, toys that make noise, toys that have lights, toys that play themselves and because we have the main building toys not toys with a lot of pieces. I try to stick with wooden toys and play couch/yoto accessories,etc. Hes 3.5 and able to read some 3 letter words already, has a long attention span and plays independently fairly well. Merry Christmas! 🎄

@sammersinthehouse thank you. Sometimes I find it hard to find things that follow all these "rules". However I find the things that don't follow these we either end up not playing with after a very short time.

@Jss766 I can see that, we've been through quite the decluttering / downsizing journey over the last few years. That's one of the reasons I didn't buy the baby a toy just to buy one. When he's older next christmas I can buy him something he can really use and like. I've only kept a handful of toys that were actually really loved and used by my kids. The rest just ended up getting donated. The ones that make a lot of noise are the worst, lol. Im not gonna lie though, the favorite things to play with in the house for the little ones are usually just random household and kitchen things. 😅

@sammersinthehouse yes the yoto player and play couch are definite winners here. Almost everything else goes in phases. The noise and light toys are literally forgotten about a couple days layer though.

@stephanieventuro8898 It's not the price I'm referring to. Google what "minimalist" means

I see what your saying and understand but I've also seen a lot of different view points on what people consider "minimalist." If you see my house tour video you will see more of how we live and how minimal we like to keep our home and stuff. I'd consider the kids main gifts to be pretty minimal while the little surprise toys will likely get thrown away after a couple weeks.

@alabamatrixie7379 I totally agree, this is not a minimal amount of gifts, the title catfished me
@rubeuspotter71923 күн бұрын
She also bought for 3 kids and some of the stuff can be shared between the kids. Also just because she thinks it’s minimalist, doesn’t mean you will.
