What a fun update! I’ve missed coverage of some of these projects. You need a spread sheet of designs, knits, and when you can show them. 🤪

I love all of your knits on you, and how you share your reasons for choosing projects - to design and to knit from other designers. I did purchase your 1999 pattern, haven't gotten to casting it on yet, because I have so many other sweaters on the TBK list right now - 2025 is my year of knitting Christmas Sweaters - at some point I'll have enough scraps to knit the 1999, perhaps it'll be my Christmas 1999 sweater (all the Christmas sweater scraps knit into the 1999 pattern. Which will be extra fitting because Christmas 1999 was our first year in our first home we owned (mortgaged). Most proud of knit this year? Probably my scrappy sweater for my wife, she's worn it nearly every day since I presented it. But really it would be the accomplishment of knitting nearly 10,000 grams of stash out! I didn't keep track of each project I knit, so 2025 is all about recording grams in and grams out, and documenting knits (and crochets and woven items).

Thank you for sharing all your knits. I had forgotten about some of them and they're all so good. My favorite knit of 2024 was the Polina pullover, which I learned about from your Rhinebeck video. I used a soft wool/hemp yarn in mustard yellow with colorwork in black. Love it. I wouldn't have known about the pattern without your KZbin adventures. Thank you!

Fun video Jen! I love love love Hanuii. I knit a sweater with the chocolate brown and I just love the rich tones. It does block so soft. Right now I am knitting a sweater (Magnolia Bloom by Camilla Vaud)out of Alafosslopi and it is going so fast. I am loving it. I used Peace Fleece for some house socks….so good. I have branched into the more rustic wool this year. I have some Wool Dreamers Manchelopi but haven’t decided on a pattern yet. I love your Tinde. I love the story behind Wool Dreamers. Spanish company working to preserve the sheep’s and shepherds of Spain….double so good!

Happy New Year Jen G! I listened to your live delivery this morning while I was getting ready for work, such a great way to start the day. Your knits are beautiful and impressive :) my own faves for the year are my Crowberry in beloved Lopi - I want to make another - Felix pullover in Peace Fleece, the cardi is on my 2025 list. I did 2 Brienne Moody patterns, Plant People(yarn by our mutual buddy Sam of Lavender Lune and Orna (Atlas yarn, so good) which I test knit, both were meditations in texture and I loved every stitch. Also several patterns by Elizabeth Smith who I love, I test knit for her. Socks all the time. In 2024 I made a project list and for the most part stuck to it, I have a couple things to complete from that list, but am creating a project list for 2025 as well. Gibb has been on my list for a few years, it must be time. January is dubbed my finishing month, no new projects - right - but finish work on anything that needs it, like weaving in ends, sewing, etc. Wish me luck! Best to your friends and family in CA, heartbreaking and wild what fire can do. I hope everyone is safe and surviving. I watch you every week, loved vlogmas 2024, look forward to seeing and hearing what's next for you. Keep creating! No Vogue live for me, going to Iceland in the spring and then Finland in the fall.

BEAUTIFUL knits!!!! I mainly knit socks, but trying to branch out this year for some lightweight sweaters. I live in the South, and not much use for sweaters sadly. I guess I am most proud of a Christmas stocking I knit and some a pair of color work socks....hoping to knit more of those this year.

What a fun reminder of the year!! My two most worn knits of the year are my Bellini pullover from Sweaterfreak and her Flower Street Wrap. So sorry for your niece in Cali. Just found out one of my cousins and her family lost their home. So heartbreaking but thankfully they are all safe.

WOW!! You were SO PRODUCTIVE and made so many GORGEOUS knits in 2024, Jen!! All of these projects are SO inspiring; thank you so much for making this video. I have recently cast on your Main Squeeze Pullover in Blue Sky Fiber Woolstock Worsted in Loon Lake! I LOVE my Main Squeeze Cardigan and wear it a LOT so I thought I'd make a 'pull it on like a sweatshirt' pullover! I have made so many things in 2024, in spite of fighting through surgery and treatment that has caused right arm and hand issues, including a Quayside tee that I knit to wear in LA in April 2024. I designed a wool blanket for a very dear friend with Irish clan cable designs and finished it in time for their birthday (20 minutes per row was my rate of progress on that one), and did some yarn bombing this summer for Knit City , knit a Christmas stocking for my 4th grandchild to match the others I'd knit for the other 3, had LOTS of fun knitting Barbie sweaters from Laerke Bagger's book on your recommendation, and finally knit a sweater for my youngest grandchild's 1st birthday teddy bear!! All of this has helped me push through, thanks to you!

The fires are so scary. I knit 3 of your sweater designs in 2024: Me Time Tee, Main Squeeze Cardigan and 1999. The Me Time layered over a long sleeve tee is a definite fave.
