Thank you so much! I do tend to use a lot of Drops - my local yarn store is a retailer and it’s affordable on my PhD student salary ☺️

I knit sweaters year round. I was considering doing a summer knit this year, perhaps a cardigan in a cotton/linen blend. Thanks for sharing your knits and insights into your patterns. The yarn recommendations are great to have especially because you give helpful information about the yarn and their is such a variety with some luxury and more budget friendly options.

I live in Trondheim, Norway. While after Easter, around three weeks we had nice, sunny, spring-ish weather, I was craving to cast on a cotton top, while I was finishing a sweater. I casted on a tee now, and it feels like winter came back here. So now I want to knit hats, sweaters and cardigans again, so my knitting mood belongs to the weather :D Last summer I was knitting a sweater and crocheting a top, so I guess I do both in summer.

It felt like that a bit in Tromsø! We had a week of spring and then it snowed again. So only sweaters on my needles for now 😅

Still planning to knit Sweaters. Maybe I'll alternate with a summer top, but sweaters are my main goal/motivation in knitting, as I can sew tops (and it's so much faster too) 😂

I know this comment is WAYYY too late to be of any use, but I am always making sweaters. I like to make them as Christmas gifts, so I am making them all year round. 😊
