0:52 WHAT? Girl you are amazing. Do you know how this could change my entire relatioship to fast fashion? That is so skilled, so respectful of people's lives and labor. In India a entire building collapsed on top of people sewing our clothes. As a consumer I have to live with that on my head for the rest of my life. Sewing your own clothes means that maybe one less person is giving these murderous companies money. I'm so inspired by you and so proud of a woman of color doing this. Girl you were BUSY! I totally get what you mean about the full bust alts, they really make all the difference. We are not one size - even a straight size in a pattern is still going to need alterations to fit our individual needs - proportion is everything! I love that this year has been a journey for you into your sewing mastery. I feel like this year has done the same for me. Also, living in the Deep South (I’m from Atlanta but currently live in Virginia) is a different experience when it comes to seasons! I have had to adjust my garments as well and having increased my skills, I feel better prepared to make adjustments to my makes.

Back in the comments again... 5:49 It's really not. The only reason you think that is bc the color is soft rose pink. Had it been fuchsia or magenta or a even a turquoise, that would make you disabuse yourself from that notion!
