Wow you’ve sewed some beautiful garments! Your attention to detail is worth it! I’ve sown for many years and can see you definitely could sew for a living. I used to sew for individuals and that can be very rewarding but don’t let them think it’s cheaper to have you sew for them then buy the items!

Missed opportunity for getting some footage of you skating in your dress oh my gosh that would have been so wonderful! You didn't have to twirl or spin or anything but just seeing you out on the ice wearing your own creation is just amazing oh my gosh I hope you get to do it again someday and and show us a little bit of footage of you skating around. First time stopping by and I'm getting myself excited and motivated to actually try the serger that I bought last year for 25 bucks. Wish me luck

Yes, I had never heard of it either, I found a helpful tutorial on youtube! I just linked it in the description :) I saw your Blanca and I love it! It was the purple denim one right? I think I need to do a denim one next time...as much as I love the linen, the structure of a thicker fabric looks great! 😊

Very impressive line up! Just wanted to mention, the timestamps have the second dress as McCalls 8283, when it is actually 8382 as you have it linked in the description and in the original video. Not sure if you can change that here but thought i'd mention it in case!

That jumpsuit looks amazing in the linen fabric. I have been wanting to make my own pair of overalls for gardening purposes but I think I like the idea of an a jumpsuit better with perhaps a tank top a cotton tank top underneath cuz I am an avid Gardener and it drives me crazy to adjust my shorts from all the bending over and standing up etcetera because I'm usually wearing gloves and my gloves get absolutely filthy and then I don't want to touch any part of me or my outfit right? Anyhow I love the upper athletic thigh adjustment tip. My son is a cyclist and he is plagued by this problem with nearly everything he buys

Thank you so much! It is a vintage Kenmore 585 made in the late 1960s for Sears! It is a great workhouse and can handle most projects (it sometimes struggles with lightweight fabrics though!).

I also really like the beige dress, but the pale tone does nothing for your skin. You sew so beautifully, and I appreciate your comments on the fabrics and the modifications you made.

Thank you so much for watching! I agree the beige isn't as flattering as other colours. I think it looks extra bad right now because I am so pale! It is slightly better in the summer with a tan, haha!

I’ve been trying to make my own ballet body suit for a while now and I’ve had no luck with finding good 4 way stretch fabric in store. I’ve also had a hard time drafting the body suit. Where did you get your fabric and how did you go about drafting? Thanks!

I got my fabric at a local fabric store in Toronto called King Textiles. I found it helpful to go in there and speak to a salesperson. I think it can also be bought online, I know stores like Blue Moon Fabrics is popular (although I have not ordered from them myself). I used a pattern from Jalie called the Olivia dress, but Jalie patterns have tons of leotard patterns available in a great size range. Goodluck with your project!
