hihi! if you want to go to Thailand , you can go to Chiang mai china town , there’s a lot of fabrics and local yarn stores there are mostly thin cotton yarns and acrylics 🧶

In your experience with the drop spindle, is it possible to put too much spin into the fiber u think?? I just finished my first handspun skein and i feel like i put way too much spin into it; its all curling back onto itself even after blocking and thwacking. your handspuns look beautiful

such a good question because my first spin was wayyyy over spun so I get the struggle 😅 So singles will always have a lot of energy because that’s how you keep the twist in and having a lot of twist is actually good if you plan to ply two singles together! if you’re not planning on plying it then definitely don’t put as much twist into it and draft it until it’s barely twisting anymore, then wind it onto your spindle. hope this helps!! Im no expert but that’s what i find works for me. Keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of how much twist you need to put in! :)
