im new to the family, but i can see why some people can feel upset about how they knew them before they got "famous". its completely understandable. its because you guys felt like you always had this special connection with them from the beginning of their first youtube video and suddenly all these people are just cutting in front of you, making you feel more further and further away from them. i would feel so broken if i were you guys... im honestly really sorry that it had to feel that way, but look on the bright side. we get to have a bigger family (: im so glad that i stumbled into acknowledging this band and somehow learned to love these 4 dorks and all the family members along the way. i just hope we can grow stronger along with the guys' music and everyone that supports them. #5sosfam they'll never change, and neither will we. right? I've been part of the fam since the beginning, and I thought that everyone was going overboard with "omfg I love you so much baby" or whatever to the band members when they've only been part of the fam for a short time. i actually miss this so much. back when they were just a "stupid little local band" of teenagers from Australia. I miss being the only one who knew about them out of my whole school, yet im so happy they now have the recognition they deserve. I just miss this sometimes you know? But I always have the memories I guess, still can't believe I had to give up my tickets to a gig of theirs in 2012. but I kinda feel like to me, and those of that have been there for years, before they got big, will always see them as a local band. because they always will be that same band won't they? so proud

Yeah, I know :-( that makes me really angry because they don't deserve that. They get treated like animals with hundreds of girls shoving phones in their faces. Mobbing doesn't benefit the fans, or 5sos. The fans don't get a proper picture or conversation, and I can imagine 5sos feeling claustrophobic and uncomfortable. They aren't going to want to meet fans anymore if it continues to happen.

I miss this. I wish they could do these again, without getting mobbed and tons of security (they could come to Ohio and do this because we are chill af but no because Ohio never gets anythkng) I'm proud of them getting everything they ever wanted but at the same time I miss being the only one to know them and convincing my friends to listen to HEARTBREAK GIRL to join the fandom, when they went to malls and werent continously hiding or getting mobbed, when they were allowed to see fans, and looked like lesbians, when they never cared about anything and recorded three keeks everyday. thats what I miss.

Oh my god. I started sobbing. I remember when they were this small and nobody knew who they were. I had them almost to myself. It was me and a few other people. It's mind blowing knowing that these same 4 boys have performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Billboard Music Awards, have been on live national television multiples times, and now the Ellen Degeneres Show. And on top of that, won 12 awards in the past year, I believe, and had over 50 nominations. They came so far, it's beyond amazing. I feel bad that they get mobbed nowadays, and need all these security guards because people don't understand what privacy is. But they seem to be enjoying everything, and I'm truly happy for them. They were never my little secret, as I joined the 5sos fam in January 2014. I wish I was here earlier, I really do. But I'm here to support them now, and I can't wait to see everything they achieve now and in the future.

Its already 2021 and its really warm to see and watch again how innocent, simple and meaningful the old 5sos are... I mean they are still the same and their songs now are still perfect and meaningfull but for me their songs back then hits more hard because its not just about Love songs... Its more innocent and more on the "struggles or problem, issues in Life".... And now you cant see them freely go and simply sit anywhere to do an acoustics to their songs together with their fans and being weird dudes without worrying about their image in public like they used to be and just simply hanging out together singing their acoustic versions... 😭😭... Anyways life changes and im just glad they already reached their dreams.. ❤💋im just happy they are still together... Anyways i know that 5sos fans like me will always remember how innocent and simple 5sos started.. 💋💋 "Its not bad to move on its just that some people are not that fast in adapting with changes thats happening' so to the others whos saying that we should already move on i hope you understand that afcoures we love the 5sos now its not because we keep on saying that we miss the old days doesnt mean we hate them now...
