Egypt is a country of mixed races and ethnicities and they have lived for very long centuries of slavery and it was known about them that the first to wake up from sleep is to occupy it without any resistance from the Egyptians, they are Turks, Circassians, Gypsies, Indians, Bengalis, Romans, Armenians and Greeks, as for the Arabs, they live in the Sinai Peninsula and they do not mix with anyone or marry outside their tribes because they consider themselves to be the purest people in race, blood and lineage. There are Berbers in the Siwa region and they are exactly the same as the Arabs, they do not mix with anyone or marry anyone at all. Their customs, traditions and nature of the Egyptians are closer to the customs and traditions of the Gypsies, Indians and Bengalis, so much so that they are called Indians and Bengalis of Africa 🇪🇬❤️ 🇮🇳 because Britain occupied Egypt for 70 years and the soldiers came from India and Bangladesh and many of them remained in Egypt, as prostitution was permitted in Egypt and they used to have sex and have many children in the street Clot Bey was the king of prostitution at that time. They took a lot of Indian customs, traditions and culture, even some of the foods were originally Indian and not Egyptian, such as koshary India is very similar to their country and they are very similar to them. In customs and traditions, you feel as if you live in India. Their streets, residential neighborhoods, and transportation by tuk-tuk. They are nicknamed India and Bengal Africa 🇪🇬❤🇮🇳

As an Egyptian citizen, I must say that I strongly dislike many aspects of life in Egypt. I wouldn't recommend visiting certain sights, like the pyramids, if you're looking for a high-quality experience. For a better experience, you might consider going to El Sahel El Shamaly (Marsa Matrouh). This area caters to wealthier visitors and offers beautiful beaches, luxurious amenities, and impressive buildings. The waters there are some of the best you'll ever see. On the other hand, many places in Egypt can be disappointing. Dirty bathrooms, poor food quality that can make you ill, and aggressive salesmen are common issues. Despite these problems, I want to emphasize that the people of Egypt are among the best you'll ever meet. We warmly welcome everyone to our country.

Hi Omar! I’m about to go to Egypt for 3 weeks and I’ve been wanting to ask folks if there is anything I should or shouldn’t do to be a good guest? My partner and I are both American and I know we do not have the best reputation for being respectful travelers, is there anything westerners do when visiting that particularly annoy you?

You say that newer eSIM-only iPhones don't work in Egypt because they don't support eSIMs. Then you say that you used Airalo to buy data, but Airalo uses eSIMs too (when I traveled to Italy, I purchased data through Airalo which installed as an eSIM on my iPhone). My wife and I both own newer iPhones that don't have physical SIM card slots. And we are both on an unlimited international plan. Will we not be able to use our phones in Egypt?

What carrier are you using? Check with them if they operate in Egypt. As I said, with the local carriers, e-sims are not possible.

@GringoNation7 ай бұрын
Hello, thanks for watching and leaving a comment! I recommend the company I used for the pyramids: We Know Egypt. I did not use a guide at the museum but they have some out front. You can negotiate the price with them. I hope you enjoy your trip! :-)
@zowievanleeuwen48823 ай бұрын
I am living in Egypt, you can take an uber to the pyramids, the entrance price is 550 egp, then you can ride a camel or a horse for like 150 to 250 per hour, then there are many freelance guides who offer their services, you can negotiate a rate with them, it depends on the time they spend with you, a hour will cost like 150 to 250 pounds i geuss. If you book trough an agency it will be more expensive but you will know what to expect up front :)

I stayed in a city called Qena in a hotel called Basma, and it was directly on the Nile it was nice. Can get pretty hot though on the 31st of December I was sitting on the terrace watching The Nile go by and sipping a sugar cane juice so good.
