I have been playing CoS for over two years, and through that time, I have seen a lot of things. From my first time playing on a simple Iphone, zipping through the world as a brequewk during beta, to the newest update, and me partnering with someone to get the new cheetah creature. I have been through this game's ups and down, been through thick and thin. And although current Sonaria is horrid, and the Recode is much better, a sense of sadness comes with it. I remember when the Arson released, me and many others sitting around the rim of the Volcano eagerly awaiting and eruption. When the Session Gacha released (its two-year anniversary was friday!), me straining to get all the new creatures and hear the new winter music. When the first map updates were teased, adding the Salt Flats and completely re-doing the Volcano and Oasis. Even when you posted that video talking to Xan, telling everyone about the original Map Redesign and Recode. Sonaria has been a big part of my life, and this change will redo every part of my childhood game. I am excited, ofc, but also scared, seeing my favorite game change, even if it is for the better. I invision that day in the future, the Friday the Recode is planned to offically release, and everyone is huddled together, sharing their memories, taking the last screenshots, and awaiting the update, excited yet also sad that all those memories will truely be in the past...

I'm super hyped. I honestly feel like this will spark my interest for Roblox again, it all seems so fun to explore and I pray that it will incentivate players to explore instead of sitting in an oasis chatting. I do hope they add RP servers at some point, where you can choose whether others harm you or not. As someone who enjoyed the realism part of for example, creating a family, hunting with your pack, etc but could never do it due to people ruining it for the sake of boredom, it would be a godsend. Tysm Zolva for this vid, I too struggle with change a lot, but this seems exciting, much love to u ♡

@@fleurala I haven't seen too much about nest changes, but I do know that they have plans for adding an option in the menu to spawn directly into somebodies nest slot if they have available eggs and they press accept. Like nest invites, but the other way around.

But I do hope the Devs decide to only add new creatures every now till then and focus on adding better mechanics (even though this is so much better, more still can be added) as well as more creative events and perhaps Mini Games ( I have so many game ideas in my head that use their creature models, so I really hope the Devs could add mini games with their creatures to add uniqueness and to reward players a fun time if they are angry about death or something) .

I am excited about the new features, gravity and balancing out movements, flying and the leaping for sea creatures is lovely (i love sea creatures, but for now they're quite boring) My biggest ick with this update is for sure how cramped and confusing the main menu is. From what I looked from your showcase it seems very confusing compared to the one that we have now, which to me is very intuitive. I am looking forward to the recode and gameplay change, but I hope they will adjust the UIs and make minor changes to make the menu have a bit more clarity to it

This is the recode sonaria really needs. SO far has cos fallen from a survival game to a socialising game. The only thing we can do now is sit around and chat, or raid the server until it eventually gets bored. Now the focus is once again shifting to survival, which makes the game less boring. the bad thing is that i cant afk grow creatures anymore or ill find myself drowned

I LOVE the new map! I felt that before it was weirdly shaped and the blending between biomes wasn't very good, but now it's awesome!!!! I also love all the attention aquatic creatures are getting! With the jumping feature and the flash floods and droughts they can get around the map much easier and I'm sure it'll be a lot more fun too!!

Words cannot describe how excited I am for the flight overhaul alone-I’ve wanted more dynamic flight in this game for YEARS and it’s finally happening!! Also the new map and shaders look absolutely stunning, and although the Robloxy-ness of the map is still visible, the new lighting makes it feel way cleaner than the current (old?) map. Just seeing this makes me realize how long I’ve played this for, I remember starving to death for the first time way back during beta testing, because my poor little Kriffin couldn’t find food. I remember when Lmakos were the only tier 5 creatures in existence, and how everyone freaked out when the Kendyll first came out. I’m happy to be able to obsess over this game’s release for the second time, and I honestly can’t wait to play it! For as much as I’ve rambled in this comment already, I physically can’t put my hype into words because I feel like a giddy little kid on their birthday when I try to describe it. I just can’t wait!!

Ive been playing creatures of Sonaria ever since it became public (Yes, I did play from the beginning of beta Version,) And I am honestly really excited for this new change. I have not been the most happy about how many different things they have added so quickly, (New Creatures, Updated map, more Gachas, palettes, materials, etc) but I think that's just because when a lot of new stuff gets thrown at me I get really confused. Im really excited for the brand new flying mechanics! they seem so smooth now, and that will be a really big improvement! (Because the flying we have now is very choppy) and the new things for aquatic creatures will be absolutely amazing, making it way less boring to be an aquatic creature, especially during floods! The limited food and water sources are really going to give this game a realistic feel, and I absolutely love that. And I am so excited for jumping! (I've been playing since Beta, I have been wanting this for years lmao, and now we finally get it!!) The only thing im concerned about is that this might add a little more lag to the game, especially for mobile players, and people who like to play on higher graphics. But overall I an literally flopping on the floor with excitement right now, So any idea how fast this update is going to move along? a few months? by the end of the year? Waiting into next year?

Since the recode is coming up, I wonder if they fix some creature bugs as well. I'm a sochuri main, and I really enjoy clinging on the walls. But one thing that bugs me is that whenever I cling on the walls, instead of the animation for it playing, the soch does a tpose while facing and holding on to the wall. I'm not sure if it's just me who's having that bug, or if it's a common problem, but I hope the devs noticed that and fixed it. Anyway, the map looks really cool, and I hope to try it out as soon as it releases.

i believe that the lag is being significantly reduced with the recode haul! none of the creatures were actually optimized to reduce lag in the current game so they are fixing that in the new recode as well as optimizing the map and adding a"reduce lag" selection in the settings bar. hope this helped!

Y’all are waiting for the recode, I’m waiting for the Tv series. *We are not the same* Also carnivores and herbivores should be able to eat eachother’s diet in emergency situations receiving debuffs for doing so, like for example, in real life a dinosaur called Sinoceratops was known to eat meat as a juvenile to fuel its massive bone growth, this would be such a realistic and cool option to avoid starvation with a different food source in your face.

I am so super hyped for the new recode! i was pretty burnt out from sonaria and would pop back in a play for a few hours before taking another month or two break from it. Im hopeful for the recode and im hopeful that itll ignite my interest! the strenuous survival and the new dynamic movement is really eye catching for me in general. Im just hoping that there wont be another oasis situation where everybody just kind of sits around a waterhole and talks. community is fine but like its kind of lame when no body is moving, and making packs, and hunting, and yknow migrating? it adds a little bit of realism and joy into the game.

The idea of recode alone made me holler like a rabid ape, and the new mechanics made me only more over-caffeinated. My favorite mechanic so far is the flight and water quality. The flight sounds really hard, but also rewarding once you master it. The water quality will also force players to migrate if they don’t want to get sickly, which is quite a plus considering the current state of sonaria.

The old game there used to be footprints but now we have footprints back Also sent will be a little bit more trekier for me But since footprints will make it easier
