Migration is not just stoking inflation, it is stoking a lot of anger within Australia in regard to housing supply, infrastructure and general congestion. This government won’t be satisfied until Australians both old and new at literally at each other’s throats. The whole issue of releasing illegal immigrants who are convicted criminals into the Australian community is just a minor flashpoint when compared to the tsunami of issues that will flow from record setting migration levels. Ireland here we come.

Perfect indication that her priorities are only focused on the baby boomer population - the only ppl who feel wealthier from rising property prices are those looking to down size or have investment properties paid off. Other ppl can sell their house and get more but will also have to pay more for any other house they purchase, so it's all relative.

More people = more haircuts and dental appointments even if the initial people went without.
