If he can allow himself to open up to collaborating with people of differing opinions it will be a huge boon for AEW. On top of that Tony needs to create a structure that has a clear deliniation between booking/creative and talent.

Just like WWE they do put matches together without hype. But, they have several storylines working right now. Ospreay VS Takeshita needs no build. Danielson VS Ospreay would need no build. If you are a fan and know how good these guys are, you just want to see them go out there and beat each other up. But, I get a lot of people are storylined based fans and can't get into the matches without a build. But, the same fans do get bored if the build is more than a month and complain if they only build it a month.

Ticketmaster controls ticket prices. It's not like it was in the old days. I remember you could get discounts and cheaper tickets for events. Now, you have to pay 25 dollars for upper area seating for everything.

I've recently gotten into AEW back in July-ish when Colision debuted. I actually started watching it in September-October and there's so much to improve. 1. Stop putting ROH stuff on AEW (1a. Put ROH on cable instead of Rampage) 2. Make Rampage an undercard/midcard preshow to Dynamite starting at 7pm EST. 3. Stop mentioning WWE and stop giving them more attention than other wrestlers. 4. Put your locker room in check, let them know they're not stars. 5. Focus on WRESTLING instead of making the fat guys do flips 6. Let Stokely Hathaway do whatever he wants 6. Either make Swerve a World Champion or make him interact with Mogul Embassy more. 7. Although Orange Cassidy is a comedic wrestler, he is a good wrestler, however he doesn't deserve to be International Champion 8. Tell Jon Moxley he's a mark for himself and that he should stop burying younger talent (also keep him away from anything hardcore, he could become anemic) 9. Hardcore Wrestling matches don't have to be too extreme, because that would be Garbage Wrestling. 10. Focus on training the women's division so that they get more TV time. The reason Jade Cargill made her in-ring debut 3 months after her Fastlane debut was because she wasn't trained enough. 11. Shorter title reigns. Every reign shouldn't be 100+ days long 12. Downsize your roster, you have too many guys signing and not getting a place on the roster, which leads to guys we don't know showing up for two jobbing matches and then disappearing. 13. Let someone else manage and book AEW. 14. PPV's should be 3 hours long with proper build up. The Dynamite before World's End had 3 matches announced for the show. It should be around 8 matches (not including pre-show) starting at 8pm and ending at 11pm. 15. The biggest reason why TNA almost died is because a guy running the company kept putting himself over. Your EVPs have been putting themselves over and burying others because of jealousy. 16. Not a negative just give away signs to fans at events. 17. Know your place and accept that you won't be as big as WWE like you were in 2019. 18. Remove the trios division, I know there's a lot of factions in AEW (predominantly heel factions) but it should be a 3 man faction having a singles title and holding a tag title as well. 19. Women's Tag Division 20. Make an actual brand split between Dynamite and Collison so there's different reasons as to which brand you should watch. 21. Aubrey Edwards has no respect for pro wrestling (proven by the We're female wrestlers video where she calls pro wrestling "play fighting in underwear") I ain't reading allat/TL;DR: Yadda yadda focus on wrestling and make your product watchable instead of competiting with other companies.

Tony Khan really needs to bring in some other bookers; he's just spreading himself too thin. Hiring experienced bookers and producers for each show could add some much-needed uniqueness to the three programs. AEW has to scale down; it's just not sustainable to run shows in arenas that are more than half empty. It feels downright depressing, and it's hurting the overall vibe, the morale of the talents, and the public perception. Right now, AEW is ice cold - there's zero buzz. WWE is hogging all the attention (No, Okada and Moné won't change that, and if Edge couldn't move the needle, neither will they). AEW desperately needs to rethink, rebuild, and make some major moves because if things continue like this, it's not going to end well. Tony needs to realize there are major flaws that need addressing right now, or it's just over.

I’ve not watched AEW in a long time, I agree with you the buzz just isn’t there, if anyone tells you otherwise they are only lying to themselves, they continue to support AEW because they feel if they stop that it will fail. It’s already failling and no superstar sign in h are going to save it. Tony needs to step aside, hire someone who has some creative direction. I dare say it, Paul Heyman would be ideal for this role but he will never leave wwe. So Tony needs to find someone like a Heyman. And give him creative control.

I don't think it matters even if Khan literally hires every member of the WWE Performance Center to coach his talents. The big issue is that he gave his wrestlers too much leeway, and even his coaches are kind of throwing their hands up, cause virtually no one wants to listen to their opinion. As long as Tony Khan gets his fix of wrestling matches and anti-WWE dopamine rush, he's not in the least concerned.

You hit the nail on the head, something I was going to discuss on my channel as well but signing these talents don't mean nothing if the storylines and creative isn't there. Something is clearly wrong when you have Edge of all people, a Hall of Fame talent not helping ratings. You see Edge in AEW and you have flashbacks of Bret Hart in WCW... that sums up Tony's booking of AEW right now. They lack the proper storytelling, the characters, the presentation that makes Wrestling fun and entertaining. You can put on dream matches, but doing them every week without no build or storyline to justify it, what's the point of watching? Toni Storm is so over right now because she has a CHARACTER, she's different from the other female wrestlers who are all... "I'm a good wrestler." I'm even enjoying what Matt & Nick, sorry Matthew & Nicholas are doing by adding the fact they are EVPS to their on screen personas, it gives them character and a personality and not just being a generic tag team that puts on 5 star matches every week. I don't get what makes so many choose AEW over WWE, hell even TNA(before Scott was let go) was a better option booking wise. Will Osprey, Okada, & Mercedes are all nice signings and great talent but no creative direction will hurt them in the long run in AEW when we are all talking about how Mercedes is on Rampage/Collision and the Women's Booking still hasn't changed.

It's funny a couple of days ago, the story was morale was up in AEW. Things were improving. Today, the AEW locker room is in a shambles. Tony Kahn is running a wrestling promotion. He has to hype up his product. WWE has always done it. The old promotions were still hyping their promotion as it slowly sank into bankruptcy. If Tony was on tv saying my show sucks, then people would tear him apart for that. It's a product and you have to always try to put your product out there in the best light.

My big problem with Aew Actually, it’s just a minor that could be fixed if the clown wants to fix it the women’s division And the matches Sammy versus Jeff Hardy rampage taping. Was it a no disqualification match why is this clown booking on DQ match when these two weren’t even and why is Matt Tavin and freshly squeeze Cassidy was in a Texas death match even though it’s not a very serious feud maybe they were in Texas that’s probably why, but that was just unnecessary. I feel the same thing . Nowadays, AEW has became kind of sluggish and repetitive. They had good continental classic tournament. But then again it's same good guy get beaten by bad group and then some other good guys come to an aid. Also random dream matches. Atleast have some build up. Then matches. You don't have to bleed every single week. Sometimes it feels like " All Extreme wrestling ". Promos are dull too. Those punk- mjf promos, cody's promos. I miss them man. And this is coming from the guy who have been supporting AEW from all in days.

Tony Khan seems to have a mindset that he doesn't need to get asses in seats for weekly shows. It's not that people aren't interested, AEW still gets solid ratings, so people are watching the product on TV, but they don't do much marketing outside of their big shows. You could have an AEW show coming to your town next week and unless it was like a Grand Slam equivalent or something, the only reason you would know is if you saw it mentioned on bottom of the screen on TV. They don't do enough marketing in the cites that they are going to, and when the talent sees that, they see a lack of asses in seats, which means no one is coming to see them, which means no one is drawing money or getting people to come see them. That is a big demotivator for people that work in a spectator sport.

Aew in 2019-2021 was booming but when Cody left everything went down hill no storylines, no build ups, female wrestlers barely be on TV it always be the same female wrestlers. I’ll done lost interest in AEW 5 months ago. I hate to say it but AEW might come an end probably in mid or late 2025.

I know Dom will probably not see this, but I can easily say why his suggestions will not work, and it all boils down to Tony Khan. - Stop mentioning WWE, not happening. Khan REALLY wants to pander to those hardliner AEW fans, and slamming WWE is pretty much their equivalent of a dopamine high. Mentioning WWE to flip them the middle finger is just to stroke their egos and reinforce their own anti-WWE rhetoric. They won't let that go. Also ties in to why AEW refuses to book smaller arenas: Khan just wants to flex his wealth (or more correctly, his father's wealth). - Work on selling moves and put on an entertaining program. Another problem that Khan is responsible for, cause he's just too lax as a boss to enforce authority. Kind of a waste when AEW has coaches like Dean Malenko and Arn Anderson on staff. Personnel won't listen, coaches have virtually zero authority to veto anything, it's a crap storm waiting to happen. The Punk situation also shows how weak of a boss Tony Khan is, cause he refuses to do anything about it until he had no choice. In life, we all have to make sacrifices, but Khan wants to eat his cake and still have it. He knows Punk is his biggest draw, but at the same time, he wants to remain buddy-buddy with the Young Bucks, who Punk has beef with, and waited too long until it got into a "him or me" ultimatum situation.

Objectively speaking, it kinda feels like the only compelling story that AEW told: Was that they were not crappy WWE and their Wrestlers were happy to be in AEW. At the time, THATS what people wanted. Yes there were in ring stories but they were overshadowed by the fact that AEW was having success while WWE was being branded as boring and other prominent complaints. Well the Honeymoon is over, and Tony Kahn needs to Step The Fuck Aside.

AEW went down hill when Cody left the company, Choosing to buy ROH and not doing everything he could to keep Cody, is the worst mistake Khan has ever made, He is too prideful and too much of a mark for the hardcore indie fans to see it. TK had/has people with DECADES of experience in the business going back to the territory days, but the product shows that he isn't going to them to help him book matches, nor to learn anything about the business. VKM basically gave TK a bunch of talent so that the WWE would have competition, but TK has failed to use them properly. This is what one gets when they spent their life fantasy booking. I feel sorry for most of the talent.
